I must admit that my Wife and I did not stay here but we wished we had. The hotel was the former home of a French planter during the Colonial Period and it is gorgeous. The staff were as friendly as we had experienced in Havana and it is one of the very few places in Old Havana (Habana Viejo)...

We have given this hotel one star as the evening meal of fish, crayfish. chicken and pork was the best meal we had in Cuba. The front desk staff went out of their way to assist us when our taxi did not arrive. This was the last hotel of our two week stay in Cuba. It was the worst hotel...

Even though it had bad reviews we decided to give it a chance. The only good thing is location but everything is VERY old or cheap and you hear every outside noise in the room. For this price you can do much better in old havana.

Public spaces are beautiful and well kept. We saw rooms 101 and 102. They were nice, but not available. The room we were given had black mold on the walls and AC vent resulting in one of us having a severe sinus infection and breathing problems. I recommend another hotel.

The location is great, on the edge of old town and close to the waterfront. Walking distance to restaurants and museums etc. The old building used to be beautiful but it has not been maintained. For instances, the tiles have been installed by someone who speared the grout all over the tiles and didn't bother to wipe it up. Our...

The hotel was located in the old part of Havana which was good for walking along the old streets. However, it was expensive, and many things in the room did not work. No light bulbs in the bedside lamps, no windows either so very dark, bidet in bathroom not connected and the lights on mirror in bathroom didn't work. However,...

The courtyard where breakfast is served is beautiful, but yes we were put in a horrible windowless room too. It was pleasant enough but just a horrible feeling so we asked to move and they did move us the following day to a room with a very small window with bars on it but at least it was better than...
