There's not much choice in this small (not hugely exciting) town, and I'm told this is the best hotel available. It has a kind of shabby grandeur (Artur Rubinstein and Victoria de los Angeles stayed here in happier times) but service, food and infrastructure are poor. Reception staff are appalling. Avoid a room at the front. Noise in the street...

For Cuba, this as a good hotel. It was quite large and an older hotel but it has been well maintained and still lots of old period features. The hotel is located on a pedestrian only street which made shopping and sightseeing easier since the road and sidewalks was maintained. On the first floor to the right of the reception...

We have been staying for one night only. The check-in was professional however the hotel room was very noisy - the outside air-conditioning system was switching on and off the entire night and produced enormous noise. It was impossible to sleep. The room itself was clean and bath-room was functioning ok. The service quality on the roof-top bar was very...

We recently traveled through Cuba, staying in five different hotels. This one was hands down the least acceptable, nothing else came close. The food was poor, the place was rundown, dark, dingy. The location was the best thing.

A pleasant place to stay, good restaurant and buffet, bar; rooms pleasant enough, could use updating, but adequate. Good A/C, small elevator. Nice staff. Center of town. nice plantings in the courtyard.

1st visit to Gran Club. Great place. The staff are really nice people. Yurina Otero Hernández is an excellent representative for the resort. Too bad Matthew had to show up and spoil things although Hola Sun spoiled the experience far more than a hurricane did. I have never had a worse experience with a tour company. Seems the reps must...

Stayed for one night, good stay, good food, good service. If you appreciate literature: Hemingway was one of various famous guests. You can enjoy typical meals and a really unmissable view from the terrace.

The hotel is located in the city centre and perfect for exploring. The old building is very charming and accomodation is above normal Cuban standard. The restaurant is on the higher floor (birds flying in and out). The breakfast buffet offers enough variety for most. The rooms have been renovated to modern standard with efficient airco. This was the only...
