It is a very good place and it is very nice, the rooms are exclusive and the food and people are very entertaining and they are always happy, the beach is beautiful and the water is very refreshing, the pool is very big and it is beautiful, I am ready to travel to that place again, and it is a very comfortable place and also not expensive.

I stayed here for 1 month until Mar 2020 then returned to a lockdown but my stay here at Blue Bay was fantastic. I enjoy privacy and there were rarely more than 10 people in this huge clean pool and never had to fight for a beach chair either. Walk 10 minutes up the beach to chaos and overcrowding...a must is a car. We were able to drive to town once a week to buy groceries. I could make bacon and eggs and pancakes for breakfast and steak or pasta for dinner in their well equipped kitchen. We found walking outside the resort into the shantytown safe during the day. Our room was clean and modern with a huge balcony to relax and watch the pool. The gym was small but adequate and we also booked massage on the beach. In my opinion, the beach was no different or worse than any of the other resorts we walked to, except for the privacy... would definitely go back

The beach smell terrible and look terrible, not a place that you will like to spend your time in Punta Cana. I left to a different hotel 10 minutes after arrival and the receptionist told me that I have to handle my refund with Hotels.com. Now hotels.com reject to give me the refund because the hotel says it can not be refunded.

Hotel is empty. Drinks ran out regularly. Food choice limited. Only 1 place for dinner and 1 place for snacks. Entertainment poor in evenings. No ice cream. Room service has a charge for delivery 7 or 8 dollar's. Pool ok rooms good. Mini bar a joke. 1 bottle of sprite and coke if lucky and a bottle or two of water. Would not recommend.
