This huge piece of paradise has everything even an International Airport, the natural beauty and preservation is like no other, sustainability is part of their commitment their business model. There is so much to do inside and outside the property. If you are in for golfing they have Corales a PGA golf course.

Our family prefers to rent homes and condos over hotels. Haciendas del Mar, part of the Estates, had some nice features but was not adequately maintained. The air filters were coated with years of dust (see photo) so bad we had to take Benadryl to sleep at night. The management kept promising over our 10 day stay to replace them but never did. The kitchen had sleek granite counters but the appliances were old and in poor repair. They sort of fixed the dishwasher after three days and the washing machine, though we could only use it on the cold cycle. The grill had no propane and was filthy. “That’s not included,” the concierge said, then caved in when I showed her an email where I specifically asked about a grill. They did clean and fill it. The internet did not work. The concierge also gave us a lot of misinformation, saying that the tennis was included (it wasn’t), that we could eat anywhere at the beach club (we weren’t allowed in the part nearest the beach), that we couldn’t get beach towels (we did, though maybe they thought we were owners?). The phone number at the bottom of her emails didn’t work, and she didn’t bother to tell us that she had a customer-service office at the beach club (or was this on purpose??) Pros: large units (except for the tiny kitchens), nice pool, no crowd even during Christmas week, excellent security Cons: poor maintenance, lousy “concierge” who was impossible to communicate with in English through emails, second-class treatment if you are renter rather than owner Final Tip: After signing a contract, I noticed that some owners are renting independently, outside of the "Estates Experience." Probably cleaner and cheaper.
