We stayed here for 16 days. If you don't expect luxury, this is the best place to spend your vacation. A great family admosphere, amazing service, clean and great breakfasts and a small restaurant in a beautiful garden. And it's only 200 meters from a beautiful beach. We felt like a close family who took us on vacation. I sincerely recommend.
This is an awesome place near the Bavaro beach (3-4min walk). They offer spacy rooms that are very clean, nice patio and a great resutaurant. The owner couple running this place are very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel!
I don’t know what we’d have done without this place .. during the corona outbreak our flights had been cancelled and we was stranded at the airport !! We was given Marcos’ number by a lovely German lady who said give him a call and he’ll look after you he’s amazing!! Well .. nothing was a problem he organised a taxi to collect us and take us to back, absolutely fabulous family, nice clean rooms, and a fabulous outdoor bar and kitchen in the garden , made us food and drinks and was so helpful and I mean ‘Genuine’ which you don’t always find !! We felt safe there as we was uncertain when we would get hone !! It was like home from home, nothing was to much trouble, his lovely wife and daughter Magda and Mia was lovely too !! We stayed 3 nights with then. Marcos made contact with the British embassy for us and was so helpful , we cannot thank him enough !! Without you we would of had no idea what to to !! Highly recommend place to stay.. so close to the beach too ...so please please stay there you won’t be disappointed!! Thank you again lovely family !! Louise Phill , Mick & Jayne from England x…
My husband and I stayed in the smallest room at the Riviera (which we didn't mind as we do not spend much time in our room on a tropical holiday). Our room had everything we need (comfy bed - with thick blankets; which is a score for the price as a lot of other hotels with similar price points we stayed at only had sheets on the bed. AC, and a minifridge - which was nice to load up with water). Location was awesome - a couple minute walk to the beach and in to town. We never felt unsafe - lots of dudes on moto's trying to sell you stuff on the corner - just be kind and say "no gracias". If you haven't been to the Dominican - beware people every try and sell you stuff. The plus - buy your excursions on the beach - much cheaper than online and the bigger businesses. We did Isla Saona, Isla Catalina and Samana Bay and enjoyed every excursion through local companies purchased on the beach. Back to the Riviera - the garden area in the back is so relaxing, a nice place to read or play cards. I cannot say enough good things about the food - SO GOOD. The included breakfast was delicious every morning we had it. We had dinner here a lot of nights (Priced well and very tasty). The owners are very accommodating and kind - took us to the bank! (Which if you are taking out bigger lump sums of money is great as you are not charged the withdrawal fee; we also talked to a lot of expats who warned us away from the ATM's as there are a lot of card readers). We are a couple who likes to move around and not stay in one place but after staying here we headed to the Capri Beach House for two nights - after we went back to the Riviera for our final five nights - we liked it that much! A bonus if you like dogs - they have a cute one that hangs out and loves belly rubs. We will be recommending Riviera Punta Cana to friends and family heading this way. Great location, food and price!…
We stayed at RIviera Punta Cana over Christmas. After we got more familiar with Punta Cana we loved it. The hotel is located very close to the beach and in walking distance to some of the best restaurants. Besides that we used it as a basis for playing golf on some unbelievably great courses which were not terribly pricey by US standards. Marco and Magda (the owners) were wonderful and tried to accommodate all our wants. They were a big part why we fell in love with Punta Cana. We highly recommend this hotel if you like smaller hotels with a personal touch.
