The Yurt Farm is truly stunning in every aspect. The railway carriage where we stayed has been lovingly crafted by hand and is as well-thought out and comfortable as it is beautiful. Wood panelling, a wood-burning stove and spectacular views make it the perfect place to escape and unwind. The farm has wooden solar/wind powered showers, plenty of clean compost...

This place is a little but of heaven in a field. You can get away from the rat race for a week and live how we suited to best. The Yurt is a amazing nice and big with a fire blankets and hot water bottles (in the communal area) to keep you warm. Enough cooking equipment to cook on the...

We had a lovely stay at The Yurt Farm. Nothing was too much trouble for Laurie or Thea, and we were very well looked after from beginning to end. That's not to say we didn't feel secluded - our hosts struck the balance between on-hand and leaving us to our own devices perfectly. We stayed in the Train Carriage, which...

Fabulous week at the Yurts with the family 6 adults 2 teenagers and a 9 year old Best place to celebrate my 60th birthday, all the family were able to enjoy the outdoor pleasures of the beautiful surroundings, running, biking, walking. The beach at New quay is lovely, Aberceron and the Harbour Master Food is a winner. The Yurts, well...

An amazing and enlightening holiday was enjoyed by me, my wife and our three children, 13, 8 and 3 staying in the 21ft yurt on the bottom field. Breakfast on the woodburner, dinner on the beach, evening by the open camp fire by candle light toasting marshmallows, our idea of absolute paradise....we really didn't want to leave. Laurie and Thea...

9 family members travelled to the Yurt Farm for a week from the 5th - 12th Aug. There were 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child. I can honestly say this was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Laurie & Thea has created a piece of paradise for all to share. There was something to do for...

Every yurt has a lot of private space in a very green, rural setting. Even though most yurts have their own cooking facilities, the central cabin with play area allows to meet the other people on the site. Being off grid, it still felt very comfortable (hot showers, fine decoration, wood stove for the rare chilly mornings). Laurie and Thea...

We had a an amazing time here. Booked the whole site as a group of families and had the teenagers in a yurt of their own. Best thing was cooking over the fire and getting the pizza oven on the go. We were 24 people and we successfully cooked about 40 pizzas over 2 days. All to order with particular...

We were staying in the railway carriage. From our arrival we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. A lovely basket of fresh veggies and eggs were waiting in the carriage for us, and the little stove was already prepared ready to be lit. The carriage was wonderful and snug and we were cosy as anything. The views...

We stayed in the 21ft Yurt with 4 children. It was like being in heaven (albeit muddy heaven) you really do have to be prepared for wet weather and going to the toilet at 2am with a sleepy 4 year old is a bit of an experience so I would recommend head torches! Thea and Laurie and their children were...

“all yurts are fab i think the orange and green have the best view but if you are thinking about space its not much for for the 21 ft instead of the 18ft but it is a bit further to walk and there is a small hill to get your kit and wood to it”
