I stayed one night prior joining vessel at Pointe a pitre port. The location is good near Marine but approaches to gates are not good. Recipsonist is not good in English. I have to go up to go 2nd floor with luggage for room and came back for her wrong directions. TV in room very back dated and remote not...

I just returned from spending three nights there whilst working on a boat in the marina which is a short walk just down the hill. For this the hotel is an excellent choice but a bit overpriced for what you get at 93 Euros a night with the continental breakfast. This was for a standard room. The bathroom has been...

We needed to spend one night in Guadeloupe before meeting our friends on their boat and chose this one. What a mistake. Very poor value for money.Hard bed with cheap foam pillows. an experience that I want to forget. Beware: taxis are very expensive: it cost 30 euros to get to the hotel from the airport.

I spent three nights at Village Soleil while visiting my son at the nearby campus. It is a bit of a shock when you enter to see that the restaurant, destroyed by fire a few months ago, is still covered in tarpaulins with no signs of the wreckage being cleaned up. Breakfast is now served poolside. The view overlooking the...

Stayed a couple of nights in this hotel before moving over to the other side of the island. This hotel is reasonable for the price, clean for the most part, but the entire property is tired and in need of significant renovation/update. The location is convenient to the main road out from PtP toward the tourist side of the island....

This hotel is located on a hillside above the Bas Du Fort Marina, in Pointe a Pitre. (Turn left at the Champion and go up the hill.) It's location makes it perfect for sailors who are more concerned about the proximity to the marina, than the lack of high level amenities. The hotel has everything you'll need to be comfortable,...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights prior to a week's sailing with friends. We reserved a middle range room with breakfast included at 114 Euro. Not exactly a bargain, but seems par for the course in the area.. Room was a decent size, with comfy double bed and bedside tables and lamps. Desk with chair, a coffee...

We used this hotel as a base for four nights prior to starting a two week sailing trip. The rooms are spartan and a bit tired but clean. The inroom A/C was noisy but at least it worked. Breakfast was part of the room rate and was served in a central dining room by the pool with a great view...
