We stayed here four nights and had a great time. We like to split our vacation to a few days on the beach and on the cliffs. Our family was comfortable in the two bedroom cottage. It was not fancy but we had plenty of room. The street noise was loud and the roosters crowed all night but we got used to it and played our white noise. Bring some earplugs. We had dinner on the beach our first night and is was delicious. We also enjoyed breakfast daily but the coffee was hit or miss. We like ours strong so I recommend making your own in your room. We spend most of our time walking on the beach enjoying a cold Red Stripe at the many bars up and down the beach. Our favorite place to hang is Tony's Hut. It's about a 5 minute walk on the beach toward town. We would definitely stay here again. Andrea, Sharon, Howard and the other members of the team were very helpful and took care of all of our concerns.

Stayed 3 days (first week of Dec 2021) in 3rd storey penthouse studio (for 2 of us, queen bed, kitchen, full size fridge and stove if self-catered). Beautiful space on gorgeous garden property, well-kept grounds. Very steep narrow outdoor staircase to reach the room, wasn't a problem but could deter some. (There are several ground floor options in the smaller cottages/chalets on the property.) Quiet property (18+) except on weekends when the music club 2 doors up the beach is playing loud music (no different from the rest of the beach). The view from our verandah is essentially the one in photo above - overlooks the restaurant and beach, was a favourite spot, sunset views. Excellent restaurant ("C" Grapes) on site (lobster, oxtail especially stood out for us), $1 Blue Mountain coffee, $2 redstripes. Seagrape trees on beach next to restaurant create a natural canopy 20 feet from the ocean and is a perfect place to lounge the day away in the shade, between swims and meals... can also get a table right on the beach. Attentive staff, great housekeeping, would come back in a heartbeat! Great boutique find.

Excellent stay in the Penthouse suite with a gorgeous balcony facing the beach. The beachfront portion of the property is shaded with a canopy of Sea Grape trees - absolutely beautiful. Loud on the weekend from nearby Chances' sound system, but not a deal-breaker in any way for us: this is Jamaica, after all. On-site restaurant "C" Grapes was top-quality - deserves its own rating: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g147313-d7897422-Reviews-Beachside_Restaurant_Bar-Negril_Westmoreland_Parish_Jamaica.html

Firefly was very gracious when I, my husband, and three of our friends found ourselves with reservations at a nearby property that was undergoing loud and messy renovations which also left the guests without a pool or bar. Firefly came to the rescue and took us in last minute and at very reasonable prices. The property is well kept and is staffed with extraordinarily friendly people. The rooms are more like cottages with living room, dining furniture and a full kitchen including a full sized fridge. My husband and I shared a "room" with our friend in room 16. We had 5 full sized beds, a bath and a half, along with the kitchen and living room. It worked, but if you get this room for a group, keep in mind only one full sized bed is in a private room with a door and the half bath is part of that room (it does have a door of its own). This room was very close to the road, the local chickens, and roosters, so noise was constant at night. Normally, we request rooms nearer the beach when we are in Negril, but considering our situation, we were grateful to have it instead of dealing with construction noise and dust at the other place. Although Firefly does not have a pool, it did have a marvelous beach and a full service bar that was staffed by wonderful servers. Breakfast at the property's restaurant, "Beach Side," was freshly made and tasty. Better prices can be found on other properties for that particular meal. On the other hand, dinner more than made up for the morning meal. The dinner menu has a plethora of choices and the meals were absolutely delectable! A big shout out to Chef Jermane! We had at least 4 or 5 of our dinners there. We highly recommend the curried conch, stuffed chicken, and the coconut shrimp appetizer. Another noteworthy amenity at Firefly is the massages available here. Shawnette has an remarkably sunny disposition and truly gifted hands. The massages were well worth the price! All in all we had a fabulous time. Unfortunately, our great memories are marred by some unfinished business. I have had trouble with the office staff since arriving home. In the rush to get ready for the airport, I forgot to get my $100.00 USD deposit returned. I have sent three emails and not once have I received a reply. I am truly disappointed having expected continued exemplary service even once we left. So, heed my advice if you do choose to stay here. Make sure you track your expenses carefully and get all of your financial business settled before you leave. ( I would have given Firefly 5 stars for service, but since this financial matter has not been acknowledged or resolved, I knocked a couple of stars off in that part of my review.)

This place…. Was amazing! The room was clean, property was very beautiful, well kept, and quiet. Reasonably priced! That’s what we were looking for. We wanted to not be on a resort but yet experience the culture and Jamaica. My girlfriend and I went for 3 days at this location. We also stayed at Catcha falling star which was amazing too. We wanted to stay away from the party scene. The beach was so clean and beautiful. Small but nice. The locals were a bit much sometimes when trying to just enjoy ourselves at the beach. But a simple no thanks works great with them. We never felt unsafe or needing to hawk our items on the beach while swimming. The room was very nice as well as mentioned. The balcony was large and comfortable. Faced the ocean. An amazing view. We had a/c, small fridge. Little island area to eat and things. Bathroom clean. Lots of stairs tho up to the room, we stayed in the hummingbird suite. Be prepared for that! Otherwise very secure property. Small very small area to park when entering the property but everyone was so nice and helpful. The restaurant was quite and nice. It faced the ocean. Drinks are a bit pricey. So we ventured down the beach most the time and go stronger and cheaper. But we weren’t looking to do much of that anyhow. All in all Good coulda been a little better IMO, but not bad. Coffee was touch and go. We def will be back!
