Spent my last night in Negril at Alfred's having dinner with friends. The food was delicious, staff friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. All topped off with great Raggi music by a live band. The only thing I can say negative is that the restroom is small and a ways from the bar and restaurant, with the sink...

This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch & dinner also nightlife. Average tasting food. Reasonable tourist prices. Also has tv to watch sports. Nice music in the background. Service is very poor. And un-equal towards locals. Great pina coladas and bartender is good & friendly. However I've been here on a few occasions and waiters are not friendly and...

I went here for one of their reggae nights the show was'nt bad to be fair but the staff charged well over the odds for drink just cause they knew we were tourists. I confronted them told them i knew how much the red stripe really was they just would not budge and kept trying to over charge me. I...

We ate here mostly for breakfast a few days while on vacation. The food was delicious and worth the long wait. The servers are not the most friendly but the food is very tasty. I recommend the egg and ham sandwich on coco bread.

I have been going to this same spot for more than a decade so my review will definitely be honest and from first hand experience. Like another reviewer stated, this place is perfect for me but not for everyone. You get exactly what you pay for. You pay a cheap price for a room and that's what you get. When...

I have stayed at Alfred's twice before. The first time, there was a shared bathroom between guests, which was fine, because there was less sand in our room. The room fit 4 people, and had a loft. The 2nd time, stayed in a different room, with the bathroom inside. Still very nice, and it had 2 entrances, so it was...

We stopped in to have dinner and hear the band. Our server was not friendly and our questions about menu items were barely answered. Service was slow as expected in Jamaica. We had to ask for more water. Initially I was given the wrong order. The food was a bit bland and forgettable. We didnt even stay for the band....

It is okay. Love the spot, but be aware that the live shows are very close by, so very Noisy, especially on those nights where the live show is at Alfreds. Food is good. Great for volleyball lovers brand new net there. Walking distance to get to atm machine or Time Square if i may say. Although i didn't stay...
