Me and my girlfriend visit Mikuzi every chance we get, its a lovely hide-away in the Portland parish. We enjoy the quiet, peaceful ambiance of the place as the environment is nature filled. Winifred beach just a short drive/walk from Mikuzi, love that beach. Otherwise, the rooms are suitable for the nature of the trip (a getaway) and the convenience...

Stayed here for 5 days and I enjoyed it. The rooms were fair in size and affordable. Customer service was good Chad is a great host . Its not along walk from the beautiful Winifred beach and the night life in Portland is always a good adventure for any tourist. Breakfast and dinner was also good and affordable. Perfect getaway...

Great place, lush vegetation and very quiet (apart from the occassional all night parties in the neighbourhood and the omnipresent cicadas and frogs). Not too many mossies either (July anyway). Lovely rooms and a real good price. Gia is very friendly and allows you to treat the place as your own - e.g. there's a small kitchen available to use,...

Planned to stay three nights in the large cottage, but left after night one, had it when we were invaded by ants, roaches, termites and a large crab in our bedroom. Bathroom toilet flooded and smelled moldy, only one working light bulb and one really foul smelling blanket provided among the bedding. Nice location within short walk to the beautiful...

We stayed there for 5 nights. The place could be really nice, but it looks like nobody took really care of it for quite a while. There were holes in the mosqito nets, cockroaches coming out of the drawer in the kitchen twice!!, lots olf mold in the fridge, oven with no gas to cook (poor and dirty equipped kitchen),...

When my friend and I arrived at Mikuzi, we were immediately impressed with how cute and colorful the cottages were. We took a quick tour and decided to book two nights. However, once we got settled in the room we realized that it was filthy. tub had dirt and a used up soap bar in it. spider webs and dust...

We (2 English girls) stayed here last week & loved it. The location is perfect - 5 mins walk from Winnifred Beach which is one of the most beautiful in Jamaica. Rooms are colourful and basic, a great budget option for young travellers, couples and families alike. Steve is super friendly and helpful and made us feel safe.

We stayed for 5 days & absolutely loved it. Accomodation is very basic but missing creature comforts is more than made up for by the vibrant colorful feel of Mikuzi, the proximity to some of Jamaica's best beaches and Steve, the incredibly warm, charismatic manager. He is incredibly helpful and considerate. We stayed in the most basic rooms with 2...

Chalice who takes care of the gounds is a WONDERFUL man to be around and talk with. Winnifred beach is very close by and offers a wide variety of food and swimming opportunities. The cottage...
