This was my 2nd time staying in Port Royal. I normally go to Negril but I have found tranquility here in Kingston without having to drive all the way to Negril. The staff is always a pleasure to be around. Which included Tiffany, Stephanie, Sophie, Annabel, Duval, Tash and Merl. He entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I would highly... More

The Grand Port Royal Hotel was a quaint and cozy little spot not far from the airport, it was easy to get to and in a beautiful picturesque setting right on the water, just outside the busy city of Kingston close to businesses government agencies and attractions. The place itself was a little run down and in desperate need of... More

I had a very rewarding and satisfying experience. The location is very serene and relaxing; a beautiful laid back seaside view. It is perfect for the for the person who wants to get away for a quiet relaxation. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. One such staff member stood out above the other great staff members; she works in... More

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived after reading all of the negative reviews. I didn't mind at all that the hotel was far from Kingston because I wanted to be by the ocean and we used the local bus system which made it cheap getting back-and-forth to the hotel. The hotel has an older style charm, my room was... More

I usually do no write reviews but this was by far, the worst hotel I have stayed in. I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. The photos and amenities are not what is offered to you when you arrive. I booked this trip over a month in advance so I expected to have something I was happy with. When... More

Hotel is more like a rundown motel and is located west of the Kingston airport on a peninsula. Pros: Near airport. Cheap. Quiet. Decent food. Air conditioning and weak WIFI. TV with a few stations. Nearby to one of the island's best restaurants-Gloria's in walking distance. Cons: My deluxe double bedroom had nothing deluxe about it. During four day stay,... More

We stayed at this hotel for two days and it was a good experience. The staff were helpful, the food was good and the room was okay. My only problem was that the room had no carpet, there was no hot water in the pipe and the toilet water ran all the time.

We planned our trip based on the adventures we like to encounter. The Grand Port Royal Hotel was perfect for us. It was quiet and beautiful. We wanted to see some authentic beauty. We got to our room which was a balcony room. The room was nice and cool with A/C. It was great. We walked to the water front... More
