Professional staff. A very safe place for single travellors. Diplomatic in the way they helped handle garrulous and aggressive locals or foreign visitors VIP or otherwise. Really well mannered staff.Laid back relaxing atmosphere.I met great people there. Professional corporate types with over 30yrs of experience doing business in Jamaica and the Carribeans who got sick of the crime in Kingston...

This hotel was on our list of sights we wanted to visit since a scene in the first Bond movie, Dr. No, was filmed in room 105. The hotel has some characteristics that are reminiscent of a fort, such as the wall along the street and the cannons outside the front entrance, or a ship, with portholes in the back...

Port Royal is a nice place to stop and relax. It is close to the airport and the seafood is divine in the area - food at hotel is pricey and not that good. GO TO GLORIA'S. The area is a bit sketchy to walk around and the hotel should fix this. Make sure that guests feel comfortable walking around...

I was lost for words when I woke up in the morning to find a true island paradise with such beauty and warmth I wish I could have extended my stay. The Caribbean culture is so rich at the Grand Port Royal you feel like you’ve drifted back in time when life was so simple and stress free. While I...

I stayed there on April 10th for 6 days and loved every moment of it. The Hotel is on the waterfront with a beautifull view. Grounds well kept and room ok. Breakfast was enjoyable in the mornings. This is not your 5 star Hotel but very comfortable for what was offered. The pool is clean. Close by is Glorias Seafood...

This hotel needs a major revamp and while it is under new management there is a lot to be done. The rooms are basic, and sparsely decorated. The armchair had seen better days and had not been cleaned in a long time and also had a musty smell. While clean sheets were placed each day, they regularly only left one...

Our room was ok, however basic amenities such as an iron, safe and even soap was not given and had to be requested at the front desk. The location is also far away from the main hub of Kingston. It must be noted that the staff serving breakfast and at the front office are very nice and welcoming. My friends...

This hotel was beautiful the pool and the hotel grounds were breath taking. I had a big hotel room with two full beds and a wonderful balcony. There was live music at the pool and the bar being played every night. I loved every part about this hotel accept the food. I ordered jerk chicken one night as my dinner...

The location is excellent. The property sits on the waterfront across from the main city. The harbor lights at night is breath taking. Also, the scenery at daytime is beautiful. The restaurant and bar is on the waterfront, which adds to the lovely experience of being at the hotel. The landscape and the general upkeep of the property is wonderful....

We love this hotel. This is the second time we returned and surprisingly everyone remembered us. Now that we know how to navigate ourselves through town using the city busses and walking through Port Royal, we feel really at home. The food in this hotel is delicious and the breakfast is a combination of Jamaican traditional breakfast food and British...
