I was visiting Kingston with friends for both business and pleasure. After a long day and dinner at Gloria's in Port Royal, it was ill advised to drive all the way back home to Clarendon as we were going to have to go to Lime Key at 8 the next morning, so we were introduced by a friend to Admiral's...

The choices are very limited in Port Royal, so the rating is relative. There are 5 or 6 rooms in a row behind a façade that looks like a single family dwelling with a small sign, so it's easy to miss when you are looking for an inn, but the pictures in the reviews help. The courtyard out back is...

This inn is small and isn't fancy. But it's a GREAT BARGIN if you need to be in Port Royal. The owner, Ena, is a very nice woman. She will personally take you to/from the airport. She goes out of her way to make sure your stay in pleasant. Our room included a small kitchen and was clean.

We stayed at Admiral's Inn twice, each time for one night, because of taking a flight to/from Kingston, so the location in quiet Port Royal is perfect. The owner Ena is very helpful, friendly person, who helped us in solving a few of our typical tourists issues like transportation from Kingston or small shopping. As mentioned location is very good....

This is a good place to stay especially due to the proximity to airport. The manager, Ena was very helpful in taking us to and picking us up from the airport. Unfortunately when our car broke down in Kingston, Ena phoned several times to check we were ok and recommended a mechanic. I was worried by earlier postings but room...

I have stayed at Admiral's Inn e times since my original positive review but I now must caution potential guests of three problems. 1. Locked gate left open by other guests and "Dope-Users" enter and try to break into room 2. " " " " and criminals try to extort money from guest. 3. Windows in some rooms only closed...

DO NOT STAY AT THE ADMIRALS INN, safety issues. We stayed one night at the Admiral's Inn hoping to relax and get a much needed brake out in Port Royal from the hustle of the rest of Jamaica. The place was modest but seemed decent enough. In the middle of the night, about 3am I awoke to someone in my...

Tucked away in the quiet streets of Port Royal, a short walk from the historic town and quiet beach. This is Jamaica at it's most laid back, a world away from the commercial tourism of Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. The room was a generous size with dining/kitchen area and bathroom, equipped with 'fridge, tv a/c and microwave cooker....
