Ideally situated just minutes on foot from the San Juan Gate, this charming Posada exudes romance coupled with old San Juan history. With only 8 rooms, seclusion and privacy are built in. The terrace is lovely, with ample seating for enjoying morning and evening breezes. Our room (#5, Vidal) was beautiful...a perfect combination of rustic and luxury. The fountain right...

Excellent location in the heart of Old San Juan right near the San Juan city gate. Only 8 rooms. All different. Colonial house refurbished into a Posada. Great staff. Breakfast included. Will come back soon.

We stayed there 3 nights after a cruise to the West Indies. We rented a car and were able to use the handy El Convento Hotel parking lot at a $20 reduced rate. The hotel is a stones throw from the Cathedral and very well situated for walking to many historical sites. There is also a free city tram nearby...

We just got back from five days in San Juan and really loved this hotel. It is located within walking distance of everything in Old San Juan (near the cathedral), which couldn't have been more convenient. The property is beautifully decorated and landscaped, and has a mediterranean feel to it. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but did...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of an island hopping holiday. We were in room H7 which had a huge king size bed, double rain shower and was generally very spacious. One of the best things is that the villa is so so quiet and we all had a brilliant night's sleep. The villa is very centrally located in...

The hotel is a very well restored and decorated Spanish colonial house with two levels. There are only 8 rooms but you will feel as if you where in other epoch. The service is excellent and friendly, the hotel is very private, and seldom saw other guests and the hotel was full. They have a good, simple breakfast and has...

We stayed here for one night with another couple, on our way to a villa near the rain forest. Upon arrival we immediately said we wished we had planned to stay longer! The hotel is lovely, over 300 years old with period pieces but updated with very comfortable beds, linens and bath. Very comfortable and romantic. Management (Chris) was very...

We stayed here 2 days prior to our cruise. It was the perfect location to walk to everything in Old San Juan. The rooms are small but cozy and has everything you need. The staff was very attentive and gave great suggestions for places to eat and see while we were there. I would stay there again anytime.
