A nice hotel with large rooms in a super location of Old San Juan. Although the room had no exterior windows, it did not feel stuffy. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, Castillo San Cristobal. The internet connection was good. We enjoyed the very funky bar in the hotel and the view from the rooftop. Check in and out was easy. We would choose this hotel again!

This hotel is in a fantastic location, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops and the ocean. We felt deceived about the rooms as the pictures post make the rooms appear much larger than they are and all of the pictures show windows and natural light, when our room only had windows opening up to the hallway. The hotel has a cool feel to it and is well decorated, but lacking attention to detail and feels unpolished. There was a musty smell to the room and we noticed that our clothes smelled of this when we left the hotel, but also realize that this is an older hotel and it's possible that this is typical of hotels in this area. The website advertises parking available. There is parking available; however, it is located in a parking ramp which is two blocks away. The hotel has a contract with the ramp, limiting the parking fee to $20/day.…

This is an amazing boutique hotel in the center of old San Juan within walking distance to all the major points of interest will take at least two days to tour the whole city and see all the major sites beautiful beautiful town very safe large police presence locals, very upbeat, cheerful lot of tourists as well The hotel has a great terrace with rooftop whirl, pool, spas and nice little peekaboo views of a few streets. The only bad thing was the water pressure and the TV had only one channel the weather channel working but the coffee atmosphere and location could not be beat. We will definitely be going back there again, Nana was so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly, and I briefly met Luna in the morning who was very cheerful and pleasant as well. This is a very quaint unique hotel in a 500 year old building. The hotel has been there for 13 years from what I was told and also the bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms were very clean. You have to ask for the hairdryer and steamer, if needed when you check in. Also, many of the rooms are interior so if you want a view besides the terrace rooftop terrace you’ll have to request that.…

DO NOT STAY HERE. YOUR PROPERTY WILL BE STOLEN AND THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, but there is a small mini fridge in the lobby that customers can keep things in. After coming back from Hatillo with more than $100 worth of local cheese, we placed it in their fridge to keep it from spoiling. Two days later, we go to check on it and it's gone. They said that there is nothing they can do for us. No discount, no reimbursement, nothing but a half-assed apology. We will never be coming back and we will initiate a charge-back with our bank. Also, the beds are uncomfortable, the air conditioning barely works, the balcony suites have a terrible view. Sleeping on a bench in Plaza Colón would probably be better.

This hotel is such a gem! Beautiful decor, helpful staff, great location! We were only able to stay for a night, but the location was perfect as a base of operations for exploring Old San Juan. There a many restaurants and shops one block over and the fort is a quick 10 minute walk.

Cute place, friendly staff, centrally located in a good area. We were there on a Sunday night and a lot of things around closed early. Very clean, friendly staff. Roof has three hot tubs and chill area. Not sure where the pic on the here was taken, but it's not at this hotel lol Free coffee in the lobby. they also serve brunch at a few tables.

Disappointed in our room did not have a window, which is fine for a one night stay, the shower was in the corner of the room with a shower curtain not in the bathroom. The sink was a raised bowl sink directly behind the bathroom door, awkward to use. Check-in was pleasant & accommodating. When booking this room I looked at all the pictures and liked the rooms shown. Mine room was not shown and it has to be the worst room here and directly across from a very slow elevator, glad they have one however it works. We took a taxi from the airport & one end of the road where the hotel is located is gated off. The taxi driver went around during traffic to drop us off directly in front of the hotel the other end of the road was open. She advised next time she will drop the people off at the blocked area and they will have to walk down to the hotel. So beware if the taxi driver does that there is a way to drop you off in front of the hotel. The location is great walkable to dining, shopping and attractions, rooftop terrace was nice but didn’t look like the pictures again. The tubs were odd and empty so they looked like an eyesore & out of place.…

Tiny room. No phone, clock or coffee maker ( had to go down to the lobby for that). No windows and very humid. (Floors were actually damp) Bed was comfy and TV was ok. Had a small bar on the second floor but stair access only. Someone tried to get in our room at 4:00 AM but went away. We stayed here to board a ship the next AM. The next morning there were dozens and dozens of people that just got off a ship trying to check in, while we were trying to check out to go to the pier. It was a mess! Other people we chatted with felt the same way. We didn’t even shower ( did it on the ship) because the bathroom was just too small.

I booked this hotel as it was 2 days before my trip and not many places to stay overnight were left. Check-in process was good, we got to the room and I was shocked that there were no windows. I went downstairs and asked if there is a room with windows he said no, 85% of the hotel has rooms with no windows. I was like oh well, ok I have to make this work as there was nowhere to go. Also no hair dryer in the room, you have to go downstairs if you need it. Also advertised hot tubs were not working, there was no hot water at all and the pressure was extremely low. The jacuzzi was working but the water was rather on the colder side, we tried to change the temperature but it wasn't possible. I told the front desk about those issues she just oh, ok, we will look into it, so don't be fooled by those pictures it doesn't look like it at all. The bed- wasn't comfortable at all, soggy. Very loud AC, room needs a lot of updating. 2 stars for location. By the way, parking nearby will cost you about $60 for 20 hours that's what we paid. Overall, I would not book this hotel ever again.…

Perfect location in the heart of Old San Juan. The interior is gorgeous. The staff were all outstanding, super helpful and friendly. The restaurant was good for breakfast before heading out. The highlight of this place is the rooftop patio...best setting imaginable to sip morning coffee and plan the day. The room itself had some issues. The bed was too saggy and not comfortable. There was some weird stuff going on with the wireless connectively in the room. The wifi connection was spotty to begin with, but the really weird thing was that using the A/C remote made the TV turn on. And the A/C controls didn't work great period. It was always either freezing or stifling in the room. The bathroom was fine except there were not enough spots to hang things. One of my biggest complaints is the towels. Several of the towels we were given had big rips or holes. I was amazed that they would give those towels to a guest. But in spite of all these small gripes, we loved the place overall.…
