It depends from which pier. It is just a few blocks and a nice short walk from Pier (Muelle) 3 and 4. You will need transportation if your cruise ship will be at Pier Panamericano, which is at the other side of the San Juan Bay. Closest to the Pier Panamericano are the Sheraton (Convention District) and a couple of Hyatts, but I would rather stay on the Old San Juan side of the bay where the Casablanca is located.
