We had a couple good recommendations prior to our stay, so we kinda knew what to expect... but were still amazed and thrilled with this place (and it's cocktail hour Beach House, just a 7 minute walk away). Fantastic panoramic views from the rooftop deck, excellent breakfast (stellar corn muffins!). We were in the "library" and would love to have...

Although the common rooms are full of sculpture and art, which I love, the inn is just plain dirty. It's difficult to enjoy the interesting architecture and the meandering rooms when all you can see is the lack of cleanliness. I couldn't wait to leave, frankly. I am not a clean freak, but everywhere I looked there was a layer...

March is the month of active trade winds. Kites fly in abundance over the near by fields of El Morro and everywhere there are the dropped leaves of our desiduos tropical trees shedding themselves in preparation for spring’s new growth. The Inn’s public areas are totally open to all these weather changes, while all rooms are provided with excellent air...

Does not feel like a hotel-more like a rambling, crumbly old family home or an old movie set. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies to explore and wander around. Very historic feeling old building, several floors and stairs everywhere. If you have balance or walking issues it is not the place for you because the floors in courtyards and halls...

If you are looking for something unique, appreciate antiques &. Old world charm, then this is definitely the place for you. The owners will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Food was excellent, and service was also top rate. Our room had a beautiful ocean view. . .

We have stayed at the Gallery Inn twice with Jan, her sister Teresa and all of the beloved parrots. We had a suite with an ocean view the first time and it was very nice. The suites are decorated with art, books, old wood furnishing, beautiful fabrics and lace. The suites are just over the top and highly recommended. However,...

The Gallery Inn does have unique charm and lots of 'decor' to explore. I guess I can see the artistic touch with the hundreds of creepy looking sculptures. The owners should really update the guest rooms. There's a musty odd smell once you walk into your room. The curtains are very old and decorative throw pillows are even older. Is...

If you enjoy being ripped off and love musty, dirty, outdated rooms then this place is perfect for you! We traveled with our 4 children and got two rooms for one night. We could hardly wait for morning so we could get OUT of this place! We are NOT high maintenance, picky travelers but we do expect our rooms to...

My husband and I traveled first to Vieques and then to Old San Juan for our honeymoon the last week of Jan/ first week of Feb. Our jaunt to Vieques was secluded and romantic... but the Inn in San Juan was also secluded and romantic!! The Inn was stunning... absolutely stunning. The walls, the floors, the furniture, all works of...

My husband and I stayed here as the first stop on our honeymoon. It was almost as if the walls and the room absorbed us - we immediately cocooned ourselves inside this hotel for the first 24 hours. The hotel was magical, quirky and artistic. Our room was filled with tons of books and a beautiful bathtub in the center...

The minute my hubby and I walked into The Gallery Inn we felt mesmerized by the beauty of the building and artwork that surrounded every corner. It's hard to call this a hotel because it is so much more than that. It's an artist retreat to a museum. My husband and I were so moved by our stay here it...
