We choose this resort to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The location was perfect and the property was beautiful. The hotel rooms were clean. The best part was the amazing staff and service. Every staff member that we encountered was respectful, professional, and went above and beyond to help with whatever we needed. Truly one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. We will definitely be back and recommend this resort to anyone visiting San Juan!

From the moment we stepped on the property we loved this hotel. The front staff were very kind and helpful. We stayed in the Ocean view tower, 8th floor. The view is stunning. The bed was super comfy. The elevators were lightning fast. There is service at the beach to set up umbrella and chairs. The pool is really good. We went as couple, but the pool is perfect for little kiddos. There are hotel activities which are really fun like Salsa dance lessons! Pool bingo! There is a Enterprise car rental on the property which makes getting car for day trips in PR easy. Bar drinks are expense ($15ish). We bought some brews and drank on our balcony or at the beach. We even had some luck in the casino. Every staff interaction is super positive. They all are making sure you are having great stay. One item that could use some attention is room 841 on Ocean Tower has a bit of a musty smell when you first walk in.

Good big hotel with a casino that is small and not too much going on with the gaming varieties they offer. Rooms are nice but not new. The reception a little too busy to help with other things we wanted to ask and to know but I think that it is one of the best larger hotels on San Juan. There are some boutique hotels also but then we wanted a big name so we knew what we are going to get on arrival to the hotel. Thank you for looking after us.

Overall, was a great hotel and stay. The location was unique. You are in a developed city area with beach on the other side of the hotel which was nice. Tons of Doormen are stationed outside upon arrival to open doors and help with bags, very friendly. An Uber was about a 12 min drive and less than $10 for a group of 4. Check in was a breeze. There was a private check in for Marriott Elite members further away from the check in area but we didnt use it because there was no line for check in. Originally had a room on 2nd floor of the Cabana building and I immediately requested a move to higher floor bc I knew from reading other reviews that 2nd floor view would be blocked by palm trees and I wouldn't see the beautiful beach. Was given a room on 15th floor of the Main Building, Room #1207 and it was fantastic. Room was crisp and clean, looked modern and updated. Had a coffee maker and room safe as well. The balcony view was gorgeous. See my pic. There were tons of elevators and never waited long in the lobby to go up as I noted some reviews complained about elevator traffic but I didn't experience thst at all during my 5 days. Pool area was a bit crowded I will admit so you do need to get there earlier to get chairs but we are beach people and set up on the beach daily. The hotel has private area on the beach and there is a counter on the beach. You go to the counter and tell them how many chairs and umbrellas you need and they set you up, so nice and easy. Beach was beautiful with waves and some current. Was lots of fun but something to know if traveling with little ones. They have a machine by the pool where you swipe your room key and grab all the pool towels you need which was convenient. On the beach, people come and take your drink and snack orders. Drinks with booze were about $15 each for a pina colada or daiquiri. There was a gym at the hotel as well which was legit- lots of machines, treadmills, steppers and free weights too. PROS: very friendly and helpful staff all over, ultra, ultra clean property- people constantly cleaning all around the clock, the beach chair setup, clean modern rooms, very convenient location- Starbucks right across the street (you could walk from the sand on the beach through the hotel and across to Starbucks in 5 min or less) plus a 24 hour CVS next door and tons of restaurants- Recommend Roppa Vieja and Zucchero very close by. Beach was very nice and hotel had one of the most spots I saw on Condado Beach. For Hotel Food, the Muffins at La Panteria in the Lobby were amazing- best banana muffin I ever had. Casino is there too with slots and tables including blackjack from $10 to $25 a hand I saw. CONS: Hotel food was average and very, very pricy. Most egregious pricing was $5.75 for a 10 ounce coffee at La Panteria in the lobby-shame on you Marriott! Seating at the pool could be tough. Not much else negative I can say. OVERALL: this place was a gem. Wasn't sure what to expect but I absolutely loved it and this hotel was very nice and the workers were all more than helpful and very friendly. The price tag per night was not cheap but I used Marriott points admittedly so keep that in mind.

Stayed for a long weekend with a family of four in an oceanfront room. Great service throughout the hotel and at the beach. I especially wanted to point out how wonderful the 8 AM yoga classes were. The yoga instructor Juan was one of the best instructors I've ever had. The only issue was that the hotel really should order more yoga mats -- people got turned away every day because all available yoga mats were in use.

Outstanding property and service. First trip for my wife and I since the pandemic started in 2020. We've stayed in this hotel at least 5 times. last time in 2018. The staff couldn't be nicer and I want to single out and commend Kenneth (beach set-up), Jolier (Gingambo restaurant and beach food service), Stephanie (beach food service) and Sheila (housekeeping). The main tower room was fine - 19th floor., oceanfront king and ready when we arrived. I think the shower was renovated since last time we stayed and they removed the carpet and replaced by wood floors, except for the area right next to the bed. Beach staff to set up umbrella and lounges were great and ample crew on hand, nothing to suggest. Beach is pretty and clean but water too rough for swimming, unless you're in tip-top shape. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend.

Worst experience with hotel staff ever! I’ve traveled the world and am a former resort employee and I’ve never encountered an employee as aggressive as the pool attendant at the Marriott San Juan. A friend of mine came to visit us at the hotel and met me at the pool. I didn’t know we couldn’t have guests at the pool, so when the attendant came over and stated yelling at us, I was caught off guard. I told her I just needed a minute to get covered up so I could go to the front desk to see what we could do. She called security over while I was trying to get dressed and tell my husband what was going on so he could watch our young child who was in the pool. I then went to the front desk to ask if I could pay for my guest to come to the pool. The front desk said no we could not use the pool, but we could go to the beach or the restaurant. So we decided that’s what we would do. I went back to the pool to tell my husband about our change of plans and the attendant came over again with security. I explained we were leaving and going to the beach. She followed us to the beach and told the security guard to not let us go to the beach. (Next to the hotel is public access!) I told security we were going to walk the beach and then go to the public restaurant. He said he had to call his manager. At that point we just walked away from the hotel area and went for a back walk. After an hour we came back to go to lunch. We went to get my husband to go to lunch and the attendant came over again with security and was yelling at us. At this point I started to cry because I was being treated like a criminal. We ended up leaving the hotel to go elsewhere to lunch. When I told the front desk about this experience the receptionist said my friend could have come to the pool had I added her to my guest list when I checked in (but couldn’t add her after check in). She was apologetic which I appreciated and confirmed we were allowed to be at the beach or restaurant. In addition to stalking me with security, this same attendant walked around the pool taking peoples stuff that was on chairs if they weren’t in them. I get that they don’t want people reserving chairs but we watched her do this to two families who were in the pool with their babies. Both came back to find their stuff gone and chairs gone. This is ridiculous. We are paying a resort fee to enjoy the pool! The hotel itself is nice and other staff members were much kinder and more helpful. Despite asking to be in a room away from the emergency door and the elevator, our room was next to the elevator. Our room was loud-we could hear the elevator ding and people talking in the halls. When we arrived there was food in the fridge leftover from the people before us. But to their credit the staff came immediately to take it away. We had a beach view room and could see the beach from the balcony but we were facing a construction site/other hotels from half the room. Having been in PR for two weeks, we stayed at three other hotels. Out of the four places we stayed, the Wyndham was the best. Super friendly staff, beautiful ocean view room, very family friendly. If we return to PR that’s where we will stay.

Great vacation place! The best part is staff working in this hotel. Absolutely everyone goes above and beyond to make guests’ experience wonderful. If you want chairs on beach or by pool make sure you go early, people start claiming them as early as 7am. The problem is not that there is not enough, is the guest that take both beach chairs and seats by the ocean. If you are an early riser enjoy walk on the beach in the morning. Marriott has the best beach in Condado. Many extra activities: yoga, salsa dancing, water aerobics, free bikes (2 per day), so the resort fee is justified. While everyone deserve kudos, special shutout to two people: Juan Antonio, one of the yoga instructors, he is is excellent and probably his entire team is great, but we happen to take classes with him. Is a great way to start your day. Also, one of the bellmen, Johmar Santiago was absolute joy to get to know. He happened to be our bellman when we checked in, when we went to Vieques and also at our final departure. Very kind, big smile and full of great advice as to where to go and what to see. Lastly, the are is very safe and many restaurants and little shops in the area, too! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be returning for sure.

We love this place. It has great service. In particular, we love Luis E. Rodriguez, Casino Dealer of the highest order. He spun the roulette wheel for us four days in a row. We put $100 down and walked out with $800 which is great but what really made the experience memorable was Luis. This guy is a class act. He treated my fiance with respect and kindness. He tolerated our lack of knowledge regarding roulette with patience and professional courtesy that is difficult to find in a casino these days. The hotel is great, with beautiful views of the ocean, great pools and a fun casino but at the end of the day it is about the people and Luis is a perfect example of what it means to provide first class service. We will see you next year for our wedding Luis! Peace and love, Ian and Sarah

Amazing hotel with something for all of us. It has a Casino for the adults and a great pool with slide as well as a beach. So many games on the beach and even movie nights at the pool that all the kids loved. The days are filled with activities if you want to stay in the hotel or the concierge books many excursions to explore the island. We love goin to Old San Juan and checking out the town. Such a great place and we already booked our next visit.
