352 Guest House was a highlight of our recent Puerto Rico trip and it exceeded our expectations! This intimate boutique hotel is nestled in the quaint and charming streets of Old San Juan on a blue cobble stone street across from a church. The historic building was just recently restored by its owners and they did a wonderful job maintaining the Spanish colonial charm while also adding modern conveniences. Rooms: all rooms are on the 2nd floor (there is no elevator but they will take care of your luggage) and my husband and I stayed in a balcony room (they only have 2). We are glad we booked this option because it was nice to have the option of sitting outside (fun fact: on Sunday morning you can faintly hear the mass from the church across the street). Our room while simply decorated was gorgeous. It had high ceilings and tall wooden doors and shutters leading out onto the balcony - very original! The sheets were incredibly soft and our bathroom was modern and very clean. AC and WIFI worked very well. Room had a fridge and a coffee machine. Also you are allowed to bring in your own beverages and snacks (there is a market across the street) and the owners will gladly supply your with ice and cups or anything else you might need. Rooftop: this guest house has a beautiful rooftop with lots of comfortable seating and a private hottub you can reserve without extra charge. It overlooks the city and has beautiful views onto the san cristobal fortress. The pictures on the website do not give the view justice. It is very special! Staff: the staff is AMAZING! Everyone is so friendly and will go out of their way to get you anything to make your stay enjoyable. Such warm, nice and hardworking people! Also, you can text them at anytime via their dedicated concierge phone number if you need anything (directions, ice, cups, recommendations, etc.) Breakfast: our room came with free breakfast which was delicious. The breakfast area is nicely decorated and overlooks Calle San Franscico. Safety: the hotel has a card security system that restricts access to guests. Everything opens with your room card and we felt very safe and secure because of this. Overall a wonderful and classy hotel in a prime location in Old San Juan! Highly recommend to couples that are looking for a romantic get away!

Property's Favourite Review
352 Guest House is what every other hotel could aspire to. The standard of cleanliness, organization, attention to detail and overall quality is just PERFECT! During this quarentine time they have a through protocol at check-in but is east to follow. The rooftop is just a wholesome escape which is very welcomed with a jacuzzi that can be used with an appointment and it is cleaned every morning making it safer. The staff is just spectacular and friendly, very attentive and respectful. You will always feel welcomed and relaxed. The breakfast is very well done, we had "the classic" (2 eggs, toast and awesome crispy bacon) cheese and ham were added for a well portioned satisfying meal. This is easily our favorite hotel in the island! Give it a try and enjoy!

Loved our stay at 352 Guest House. Loved staying in a historical building. Room was clean, neat, air conditioned. Awesome hot tub on the roof. Breakfast at their restaurant, off their menu, SO GOOD. Favorite part was the kind staff, we felt welcomed and cared for. Location was PERFECT, within walking distance to all the major attractions in Old San Juan and restaurants. Not your typical hotel experience, better than your typical hotel experience.

The 352 Guest House gets five stars from me, not for the physical attributes of the place, but for the superior customer service rendered by Teresa (sp?), Freddie and the rest of the staff. This is a small family run business that strives hard to make you feel welcome. The location in Old San Juan is excellent, just a half block off Plaza Colon where tour companies have to pick you up because large vehicles do not easily traverse the small cobblestone roads of OSJ. If you want to walk all over OSJ, you may do so and easily make it back to 352GH to put your feet up. If you are mobility impaired, be advised that the rooms are on the second floor and there is not an elevator. The steps are fairly steep and ascending with luggage can be a bit of a challenge. A solid breakfast came with our room and you had a choice of eggs, wrap, French toast, pancakes or fruit/yogurt and beverage. It was not a buffet, nor full access to the entire menu of the attached 352 Restaurant. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in OSJ at 352 Guest House.

Thank you very much for the five stars. We appreciate the feedback. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at 352. We hope to see you soon, FREDDY ANDRADE 352 GUEST HOUSE To TRIPADVISER readers unfortunately, we do NOT have an elevator or a bellboy. We help our guests with the luggage up to the rooms when required, however if you are thinking of booking this hotel and feel stairs would be an issue for your stay, we do not recommend this property.

Let me start off by saying this is hands down my favorite spot in Puerto Rico. Here's why: Location - They are centrally located in Old San Juan. Everything is within walking distance. There are plenty of food options, shops and a pharmacy located steps from the front door. Food - The food was amazing, definitely the best breakfast I had during my trip. The restaurant is on the first floor of the guest house and is open to the public on the weekend. The food was very fresh and included in the cost of the room. There were so many tasty options including bagel with lox, pancakes, French toast and breakfast burrito w/ numerous options for meet including a vegetarian option. Cleanliness - The hotel was spotless and the staff were always cleaning. They request everyone utilize hand sanitizer upon entering the building. It was nice to see staff in the restaurant to actually sanitize every page of the menu as well as tables and chairs. Staff wore masks at all times and everyone was required to wear a mask in public areas as well. Upon check in they checked Covid paperwork in accordance with local guidelines. Roof Top - The roof top is very relaxing. There are several areas to sit and relax as well as chairs to sunbathe in. The jacuzzi was very relaxing and in a great spot. You have a great view of the Castillo de San Cristóbal Fort as well as the Capitol Building. It is emptied and cleaned every morning and you must sign up at the front desk in hour increments. I was unsure how it would be sitting in a hot tub in the hot Puerto Rico sun; however, I was wrong. It was amazing! Such a great view at night time too. (I highly recommend you experience both during the day and night time.) The roof top is a great place to have a drink or smoke a cigar with great views. Staff - Everyone working there were so polite and helpful. Prior to booking I called and spoke to Freddy. He was able to assist with questions about the area and was helpful in recommending another hotel and area to visit in another part of the island. It was great meeting him upon check in! You would think that we were family the way I was welcomed into the guest house, the hospitality was unmatched! Room - The AC worked so well I had to wake up and turn it down. This was amazing considering how high the ceiling was, the heat outdoors with humidity and the pure size of the room. I stayed in the room with a balcony, which I highly recommend. There wasn't any excessive noise from the streets and you have the ability to close shutters on the window which keeps the morning light out. There is no better feeling than waking up in the morning and walking onto the balcony to feel the warm Old San Juan sun and warmth. Security - The guest house is very secured and the only people that have access to the guest house are only guest. You are given a key card which lets you into the building and your room. This area is very clean and safe as well. My overall experience was amazing. I would 1000% stay here in the future and will highly recommend this place. If you are even considering staying here, just give them a call. I guarantee you their willingness to assist and guide you in your search will verify everything I've stated.
