We had many great experiences at this hotel. It’s a Hilton so as one would expect, it’s clean and well maintained, everything you need. We spent a week there and I can’t wait to go back. The staff was AMAZING! Jaziel and Margareta at the front desk were friendly faces that offered support when asked and had great recommendations for activities in the area. Will at the bar makes an great Mojito! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the history of the community. He made everyone feel welcome. Pablo and Stephany were great servers in the restaurant. Very friendly and helpful. The guys at the concierge outside drove me to and from the beach everyday with smiles and small talk, making me feel safe and well cared for while by myself. Overall, every staff member I came into contact with was friendly and happy. Love the beach access with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool was great too. I travel for business alot. I've been a Hilton Honors member for years. This is the very first Doubletree that I've stayed in of this kind. This is a modern day throw back to the original classy Hilton. Hilton was a luxury brand years ago and this location had that vibe. Well run. Great service. Good drinks. Safe area with shopping close by. Shuttle to a beach. Short ride to the airport. Jeziel at the front desk and Sophia at Cafe Pierre were awesome!"

The hotel is close to everything, walking distance to many good restaurants and bars, yet away from the street and tucked away in a corner. The is a Supermax (grocery store) directly across the street, which is convenient. The beach is right around the corner, and is a 5-7 minute walk, or you can request the shuttle (golf cart) at the hotel, which will drop you off and pick you up. The beach club provides lounge chairs and umbrellas. Anywhere else you'd like to go,I'd suggest Uber, which seems to run consistently and very well in San Juan. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. We will definitely stay again!!

In town for business. Unexpected circumstance so I needed another room later in the week. I expected to receive credit towards my Hilton honors for booking 2 rooms, and was told that would happen, but now they are saying NO. Very disappointed in Hilton.

My husband and I got married in Rincón. It was the most beautiful experience over on the west side of the island. We came over to San Juan to be in the middle of everything else. We don’t really like cities but the food and the people made it all worth it! Christian, Jaison, James and Gadiel at the valet stand were just the most incredible and friendly people we have ever met! Made us feel like we were family! Rosalina and Dede at the little store were also so so sweet and helpful. Jermarie at the front desk was incredible we asked if they had any free upgrades and she took care of us and gave us a lotttt of advice on things to do around the area. José at the bar was so knowledgeable and cool to chat with. He makes the best old fashion I have ever had TRUST ME. If you are looking for a good hotel with wonderful wonderful service this is the place! Thank you to everyone who made our experience so special! …

Very disapointed with the room. It is small and cold (not temperature, decore) it feels like a dorm room at a college. A concrete cube with "modern" ascetic, meaning bare, white, small. When I walked in I quickly checked my reservation because I thought it HAD to be a mistake but no... this tiny room is apparently what I booked. We asked to have house keeping every day, I only knew they were here bevause I had new water bottles in my room, but other than that they did nothing. The mattress is creaky and you can feel every spring. The ONLY saving grace at this hotel is their pool area (although they were out of towles) but it's a beautiful pool.

The service here is TOP TIER! My honey and I stayed here for our anniversary trip to PR. Everyone was so welcoming. We definitely got taken care of. Food and drinks are BOMB! Pricing is VERY reasonable. Hotel/rooms are nice & clean. Pretty central location… Everything is fairly close by. Don’t second guess booking with them… Just book!

Staff was excellent. Checkin and out were a breeze. All interactions with staff were wonderful. Linens are fragrance free, but there was lingering fragrance in room, despite removing all toiletries in room except lotion dispenser. (I have fragrance allergies and am overly sensitive. The hotel accommodated as much as they could.) Hot tub didn't seem to be working at full capacity after night 1. Partiers took advantage of no set pool hours (which I see as a pro and con) and were extremely loud through 3 am, causing lack of sleep which negatively impacted our vacation. Walls are very thin, noises from neighboring rooms around and above were easily heard. I like firm beds but my husband and I both were quite uncomfortable experiencing hip and back pains from the beds. Welcome cookies are a nice touch. Property is nice. Pool area is somewhat small but was never crowded and was quite nice and well maintained, except the hot tub could have used more maintenance. It had sand in it for the duration of our stay; we cleaned out the skimmer ourselves of leaves, a plastic cup, etc, , trying to get the jets fully working again, which never did after the first night, but it was still hot and had some jets working, so it didn't keep us from enjoying it. The worst part was the loud partying which continued through 3 am the first two nights of our stay. We did call the front desk to complain 3 times those 2 nights, all between midnight through 3:15 am, and staff did ask the guests to quiet down, but they got loud again. This was our biggest complaint, because we were unable to fully get out and enjoy PR due to lack of sleep. If you are not expecting a peaceful relaxing time, you'll be quite pleased. Although the hotel can't fully control that aspect, perhaps stronger convincing of loud guests in the wee hours to quiet down is in order. It's the luck of the draw I suppose. We happened to stay at the time other guests were being very inconsiderate. After night 2, it was quiet in the pool area after dark, so I assume those guests moved on. Overall still a pleasant property with excellent staff. …
