Read some of the negative reviews, but we found the experience to be excellent. The room was clean and large, and cleaned every day. There was no smell. The shower water pressure was excellent with plenty of hot water. There was a little noise from the street below, but nothing I would consider unusual. We both slept like logs. The associated Vieja restaurant was nice and convenient. The front hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The pool was small but clean, and the jacuzzi was good and hot. The location is great as there are many bars and restaurants in the Condado area, and it is a short Uber ride to old San Juan. We would certainly stay here again.

I stayed after being on a cruise, everything was perfect. They stored my bags in frontdesk, the check-in time was at 3pm and they called me at 1pm indicating that the room is already available. The staff is amazing especially the frontdesk staff. I will be back next year and I will book in Condado Palm Best Western

This hotel is very clean and nicely laid out in two towers. It is a block and a half from Condado beach, across from a Walgreens and CVS, right on the bus lines, two blocks from a Starbucks and within 2mins walk you can go to the Marriott casino or another of the fancier hotels without paying the fancier price. My room had a very comfortable bed and a wonderful modern bathroom plus a sliding glass door with a view of the beach. Included in the price was breakfast which was in the main area with plenty of tables to eat at. Food variety was juices, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereals, toast, bagels, coffee, milk and scrambled eggs everyday and then either pancakes or fried potatoes. It was a 15min bus ride west for $.75 to get to Old San Juan and the bus picked up and dropped off 1/2 block from the hotelI would definitely stay there again.

The room they initially placed us in had two lights. A small lamp on one of the night stands (the other night stand had no lamp) and a small lamp on the desk. No wall lights, no ceiling lights, no standing lamps, ect. The walls were all painted white and had no decor or pictures, just plain white walls. There were switches on the wall that did nothing (probably because there were no lights hooked up to them). We were given a different room which was better. The showerhead leaked though and ended up getting bad to the point that it was eating away at the ceiling. One of the days we did not get maid service, which is ok, but when we asked for more bath towels we were informed that there were none left. I can't say I've ever experienced that at a Hotel before. The hotel did not offer complementary continental breakfast, which for me is a big negative. They wanted $12 a person per day for the breakfast, and I'm not paying $12 for fruit loops and a yogurt. The employees were nice, but the hotel itself wasn't quite to the standard that I would expect from a Best Western. I felt that the front desk staff and other staff were friendly and worked to help any issues the best they could. One of the security guards who was very friendly was nice enough to grab towels for us when the pool area ran out (which was a regular occurrence).

1) You must re-activate your room keys every day after cleaning. Every day, no exception.
Reception suggest it's because of phone. Of course it is, especially when I never ever keep my phone anywhere close to my purse.
2) When they clean the room they find it acceptable to clean only half room. So when you finally finish enjoying rides back and forth in elevator to address #1, you'll nicely find half of room being a mess and half or room cleaned.
Reception desk feels it's ok. Is it really an issue? It is.
It is also an issue when the sand near the room has not been wiped out for 3! days.
3) Reception incapable to manage 1 and 2, and has zero skill at least not to wind up people with idiotic comments, zero capability to listen and understand the nature of the problem.
For the money these guys charge above 3 must not ever happen.
Also, reception suggested it's perfectly fine to share a review on not cleaned room and disgusting reception service, so sharing.

Walking distance to a public beach. Probably the best price you will find in the area.
Our room was covered in a popcorn finish and had old, torn carpet and a toilet paper holder that was falling off. These are relatively inexpensive fixes that would make the room have a much better vibe.
Bed was average in comfort. Not really the super comfortable beds you expect from a hotel.

My family has stayed here 3 times in the last 40 days. We travel often and could’ve stayed other places (as planned for new/different experiences) but we were wowed by yami, who gave us many reasons to come back. From the beginning of booking to early unexpected check ins he was and is always so accommodating to the different needs of the different visits we’ve made. When we came with our 1.5 year old he got us checked in hours early & had the floors shampooed knowing our son would be on the ground. When we brought our bigger kids he gave us beautiful ocean view rooms that were clean and exactly what we asked for. After my first booking I never had to book again. I gave him my dates, wants, and he made it happen and took the stress off of me. Everyday he is pleasant, always a great attitude & overall just a great hearted person. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. His service is the reason I continue to stay here. There are a million places to stay in the area that may have nicer rooms, more perks etc but I like to go where the vibe is good and the people treat you like family and that’s how I feel when I stay here. This hotel is literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in while on a vacation. Mind you, I was in a “premium” king room with a “sofa bed” and partial ocean view during 4th of July weekend, so this wasn’t a cheap stay. Here’s a list of the things that were wrong with staying at this property:
1. Linen is dirty upon arrival
2. No iron or ironing board in the room (we had to request it)
3. Had to call for it and new pillows twice AFTER the linen was changed, because the housekeeper didn’t bring new pillows.
4. The room was dingy and dirty, furniture and carpet included.
5. Sofa bed upholstery was a light blue collie, but was extremely dirty so it looked brown.
6. Microwave and fridge were dirty and had a foul odor.
7. The room overall had an unpleasant scent. I went to CVS across the street and had to get air fresheners to place around the room because the smell was so abhorrent.
8. Wiped down EVERYTHING with Lysol wipes, because there was a coat of dust covering all of the hard surfaces in the room.
9. All staff (with the exception of 2 people) had the most unpleasant attitudes and seem to be uninterested in helping guests.
10. No liners for the ice buckets, nor were there any ice machines in my tower. If you’re in the North Tower, which has over 12 floors, you had to go down to the lobby, transfer elevators, and ride up to either the 2nd, 5th, 8th, or 11th floors to get ice.
11. I asked for my room to be cleaned 3 times during the 4 nights I stayed there, and it was only cleaned on the final day of my stay. Instead of cleaning my room, the staff brought up towels and face towels only; they didn’t make the bed, clean the restroom, take out the trash, nothing!
If you’re thinking of staying at this hotel, DON’T!!!! Regardless of what you’re saving to stay here, I promise you, IT’S NOT WORTH IT!!!

I have to share my experience because I believe there are others that might feel the same way or similar. With the COVID-19 pandemic I was very afraid of going out of my home but also wanted a getaway. I had stayed here before but didn't quite knew how the protocols were being held during the pandemic. I commented a friend and was recommended to stay here due to the COVID-19 safety procedures. I did enjoyed my previous stay but understood there were limitations following the safety guidelines.
Yes, there were limitations like not having access to the regular breakfast service or the pool but had the opportunity to enjoy a warm and inviting service (something many have forgotten due to the stress) when arriving, attentive staff, a clean room, clean areas, quiet and peaceful sleep in a comfortable bed, warm shower, great temperature by A/C and the view to the ocean and street. I was working on tasks on my laptop. No problem whatsoever with wifi, it ran smoothly.
The few times I went down to get things from nearby stores, I felt safe in the hotel seing how everyone had their mask and various hand sanitizing stations. Oh! And let me not forget that I received my cleaning service, not just towels, take out trash, replenish amenities and leave kind of service. I felt wanted and cared for. Can't wait to return.
If you are looking for a place to relax, feel welcomed and safe, the Condado Palm is the place to stay.

The most I liked is that the hotel is very clean, both the rooms and the pool area. Good location. The room has a small fridge that cools very well and also has a microwave. The air conditioning excellent, but makes a bit of noise. Staff must be more oriented. The bed I used was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast definitely needs to improve. Maybe due to the covid, they are offering frozen breakfast boxes, a container of oatmeal, for you to prepare yourself. Parking have an additional cost of almost $ 17 per night, it says it has 24 hour security and I never saw personnel watching.

Saludos Stephen, hotels in our destination don't offer airport shuttle service, however there are taxis with flat rates per area available at all times at the airport and Uber.
Condado Beach is right there, a 2-5 minute walk from the hotel to the section of beach where their contractor provides umbrellas and towels.
No shuttle to San Juan but Ubers are cheap, perhaps $7-8.
Saludos, the Green Tower is overlooking the city, the decoration is more vibrant and colorful. The Blue tower decoration is softer colors, most of the rooms have ocean view and are slightly bigger with a small sofa bed in the King rooms. Also the Suites are in the top floor of the Blue Tower.
