My family and I (6 people in total) stayed the night here the day before our cruise. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, though fairly spartan. There is a spacious roof top patio with a great view and patio furniture, lovely for lounging around. There are laundry facilities and a nice, though tiny half indoors, half outdoors...

Just stayed here before and after a cruise. Great hotel, very helpful staff. Rooms are spacious, need a little update and they are working on it. Restaurant in lobby, great coffee, food a little pricey but it all is in San Juan! About 6-8 other restaurants in area to walk to. Rooftop lounge deck is nice, great views. This hotel...

I was very pleased with my stay here. The bed was nice and comfy and roomy. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The bathroom was neat and clean as well as the rest of the room and hotel. The staff was also very friendly!

My wife and I stayed last week for two nights prior to getting on our cruise. The people were great, the hotel was simple but nice. Reasonable price and not one of the big chains, which are very expensive. The biggest problem was the musty smell in the room. If you have a sensitive nose at all, it might not...

I gave the hotel a 3 star rating because it is an extremely basic hotel. However, I cannot fault the staff as they were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about ten minutes taxi ride from the airport and again to the cruise-port next morning. They do not do a shuttle but taxi was $20. There were plenty eating...

We were pricing places to stay when in San Juan. Hotel Miramar wasn't the lowest price (more in the middle) but was far from the top. Our travel agent didn't know much about the spot, so we depend on TripAdvisor and booked. The time we arrived and walked in it was about 900 PM and we were greeted by Mark...

I booked this hotel without research because I just wanted a place near old San Juan and I already new Miramar is pretty close. When we arrived the staff was really nice and I fell in love with the fact that it was a small hotel and it had a gothic chapel next to it. My husband who is a...

Hotels in San Juan are expensive, especially during high season like X-mas/New Year. We looked at several other hotels. Since we were to spend 5 nights in the area, we looked for something in the less expensive range. Hotels on the beach in Condado and Isla Verde, and in old San Juan, was 3 times more expensive than Hotel Miramar....

We spent 4 days at the Miramar Hotel--two days before our cruise and 2 days after the cruise. We booked through our travel company and got reasonable rates. Brian Molina helped us when we arrived and we got a wonderful room. It was spacious, very clean, and newly remodeled. We enjoyed everything about our stay there. Both Magaly Swift and...

We were looking for a place to stay for one night before our South Caribbean Cruise with NCL, and found out that the cruise ship port for NCL is the Pan American Terminal which is not the one close to Old San Juan, but the one across the Old San Juan harbor. So we found this hotel, which is strategically...
