We chose the room with window but it had no glass and ill fitting old shutters. Very noisy on the street but my earplugs worked for sleeping. When we wanted daylight, we had to tie back heavy black curtains with a plastic bag as they didn't open! Bed linens very nice and bed ok. Hot water always an intermittent surprise...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us, suites facing the streets always tend to be a little noisy (due to the fact that they face the street and nightlife). Thank you again for reviewing your stay with us, consider staying in one of our interior rooms next time (specially on the weekend where street noise...

Nice hotel right in the middle of Old San Juan. Suitable for those that want to explore the Old San Juan district without wasting time in the San Juan traffic. Also bear in mind that this is a historic building, with its advantages and disadvantages. Hotel Manager Tatiana was very nice to us when we had requests. César

Ever say to yourself "how bad can it be for one night?" Well, let me tell you. We spent extra so we wouldn't have a windowless room. That was a mistake. The windows were actually old shuttered doors (wooden) so all street noises came in but no light could enter. The room was hot but I was afraid to turn...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. All room descriptions are offered in all online sites, suites face the street and have view towards the plaza and the heart of Old San Juan therefore you are exposed to the sounds of a city. As for the situation with the air conditioning, after reviewing our complaint...

This hotel sits in a very good location if you're wanting a convenient spot in old San Juan, it faces the little Plaza de Armas plaza and you can pretty much walk anywhere in old San Juan in ten minutes. When it comes to the hotel there isn't much to say except, it was an older building, nothing fancy, bare...

This is a good when other hotels are charging $300+ a night. Not a luxury hotel, just a place to go to sleep. Within walking distance of the best sites of Old San Juan. The main problem is that guests close the door of the old antique elevator with too much force making noise that will wake you up. Recommend...

If you want high-class this isn't your place. However, the staff was absolutely amazing and made our stay very accommodating. It was clean, the bed was decent and for the price it was amazing. Right in the heart of everything and very easy to get around.

We stayed 3 night at the Hotel Plaza De Armas at the very end of December. It was very disappointing. I had read some poor reviews of the windowless rooms, so I booked a king bed room with plaza view, as the location was exactly what we wanted. This is a copy of my confirmation: Room Type: Suite King Bed...

thank you for your review, any and all feedback are appreciated. I apologize for the crazy check in, we were short one crucial housekeeping staff member and things were not running as smoothly as usual. By no means is that our regular check in procedure. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer and ice are available upon request. As for the noise of...

This was a great boutique hotel in the middle of Old San Juan. It is not anything fancy, but it is perfect for being in Old San Juan for a few days. It is affordable, cute, and central to everything: The cruise ports, shopping, supermarkets, and great restaurants. Specifically, Barrachina (where they invented the first pina coloda and even hold...

Nice little hotel right in the middle of Old San Juan. The hotel was clean and the room was good. Can't beat the location right next to the department of state and plaza de armas. Loved the 1921 elevator

Room was clean and spacious, and even had a little balcony overlooking the Plaza, which had live music a time or two, and always things and people to watch. The best thing about this hotel was its location, in the heart of Old San Juan. The wifi was a bit spotty in the hotel, best in reception area. The attached...
