Very beautiful building. The staff were very friendly and quick to help. The staff here informed us of amazing places to eat at and awesome places to visit. Loved the classic feel of the building and the room. Room looked bigger in photos.

The hotel staff was not terrible friendly or accommodating, after informing us at 4pm on check in day that we would have no access to the roof bar or pool. No attempt made to recover service. We’re told to go next door. When booking a hotel you should be informed ahead if you can’t enjoy the only two amenities it had. The staff could have made it a better experience but did nothing for all the inconvenienced guests. Lots of dead cockroaches in room, although the room is beautiful.

The hotel has a lot of potential but needs better cleanliness. You can tell is a spot for couples, since we found rose petals and left over belongings from the couple staying prior to us. I wouldn't rule out they can be great hotel, but needs better quality services for their price, cleanliness and feel of the Mediterranean decor we were looking forward to. Adjacent OLV hotel helps a lot with the experience and makes for the lack of experience at the boutique hotel portion.

We had mixed feelings during our stay. The property is gorgeous and the rooftop is well worth it. But we had several small issues during our stay and requested to talk to a manager, we are still waiting for a response!

The good: clean room The bad: very tired decor, windowless/dark room, and extremely aloof staff. Check in was a 3+ hour process, a good portion of which was spent waiting at an unattended front desk with other disgruntled guests. It felt like it was the entire staff’s first day. Maybe it was? For close to $500/night, not close to worth it. Kudos to their website designer. An entirely different hotel and guest experience is pictured online.

We loved our stay here. The only thing (which is kind of a big thing) was that there was no hot water or water pressure at all for one full late afternoon through the following morning. It’s an essential amenity and one that’s expected when you pay the amount of money we did to stay there. When we called the front desk there was no sense of urgency to fix the issue either. We had to take 2 sets of cold showers which was unacceptable.

This is a beautiful hotel. If you like boutique hotels, this should please you. My wife loves them and I don’t. This time, we were both disappointed. First, they asked me to email a picture of my drivers license and credit card. There are so many things wrong with this, beginning with violations of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Email systems are insecure and frequently hacked, forget an employee forwarding them on to be used fraudulently. Next, the service was less than expected for a $750/night room. I should have had people coming out of the woodwork to assist with everything. Instead, they forgot to service our room but came by for a turn-down service in the evening, which of course wasn’t needed since my bed was still a mess from the previous night. We did like the rooftop bar but on a Friday didn’t have reservations so we sat in couches watching the table we wanted go unused for an hour. The food we did have was good. Being a boutique hotel, there wasn’t a good restaurant for breakfast and lunch so we went to a nearby hotel to eat. We could have ordered breakfast to the room but don’t usually like doing that since we don’t exactly know when we’re going to be ready to eat. I stay at these hotels sometimes to make my wife happy but they’re always a disappointment to me. This time, she wasn’t happy either.

Fantastic service and very restful sleep headlined out stay. The property is perfectly situated and engineered to provide a respite. The rooms are a little small and quirky, but everything else was great.

For the price of staying for a week we got terrible service. The pools were always closed for private events which was not something we had a heads up about before booking or when we stayed. Those events were very loud and last all night. We got two solid nights of peaceful sleep. We had a neighboring room that partied all night and the staff did nothing about it. The staff never answered the front desk phone, ever. The cleaning ladies never left anything linen wise. We were always missing towels or rags and had to call before showering to get said items every time. We paid for upgraded rooms and the outside shower/tub was gross and the faucets didn’t work right. No sheets on the bed. I could go on and on, but long story short, take your money elsewhere.
