This is a beautiful boutique hotel perched right on the beach..albeit a very small private beach for hotel guests alone. A public beach is adjacent. There are several pools; the largest is for all guests. A smaller, adults-only pool lies on the east side of...More
We picked this hotel due to the reviews posted here, and we weren't steered wrong! This was one of the nicest hotels that we've stayed in.
Pro's: butler service (Delfin was the best!), Biltmore suite, very friendly staff, Tacos and Tequila restaurant (Juan was a...More
The hotel has all the amenities I was looking for, in addition to its excellent infrastructure. But what stands out is the service and the people who make that possible. We had the incredible luck of having at our service Derril, great sense of humor,...More
Despite what Puerto Rico has been through after Maria, it appears that this location remained in a timeless bubble... untouched by the devastation. It’s beautiful, clean, the food amazing, but the most important thing is the customer service by all employees, from the minute you...More

Hi Katherine - I highly recommend Ropa Vieja Grill which is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. Shrimp Risotto is amazing. Another close restaurant is Oceano, you will need a reservation in advance. In Old Town, go to Dragonfly or Barrachina (known for their pina coladas). Go to eastislandpr to book a snorkeling trip to Culebra. Keep in mind the excursions go out from the east coast of PR which is about an hour away. The charter buses pick you up from the hotel and return you, included in price. We did a combo snorkel 1/2 day then bioluminescent kayak tour at night through pureadventurepr. It was a bit much for one day but we only had to travel to Fajardo one time (otherwise you'll be going two days if you want to do both). With the younger kids, I would not recommend doing the kayaks (it is pitch dark and difficult to navigate the currents in the narrow channel) but you can do a boat tour. You can also go to El Yunque rainforest for breathtaking hiking and ziplining...although I know it closed due to damage from Maria - not sure if it has reopened.
Have a great time!!!
