On the first night we checked in we had to switch rooms 3 times, first we were given the wrong room with only one bed when we paid for a double bed. Second time we found 2 roaches in the room and immediately requested to move, then the next room we found dead roaches and the bathrooms were dirty and disgusting. After finally being in a good room, the manager decided to tell us a day after we already checked in that we were gonna have to pay for each person that’s in the room which was not stated on booking online. After we had moved so many times we let the manager know about our situations that we had gone thru and he offered to give us free breakfast the next morning. The next morning when we went to get breakfast we told the server that the manager was taking care of our breakfast, he didn’t seem to believe us so he got his manager who was a different one then we had talked to before and he told us that the other manager never said that and they also told us that we booked our reservation for 4 and not 6 even tho we have shown them proof from online. Flat out this is the worst hotel I’ve ever been in and I advise you all to never stay here, this place should be shut down.

Arrived at property at 1sh and was told we could not use any of the property until we “are guest” at 3 when it is check in. I understand we can not check in early. But there is a casino, a restaurant. Very outdated rooms. Furniture can be updated and cleaned. Room very dirty. Moved a table for an outlet and it was very dirty. Bathroom had a ring around the toilet like it had not been cleaned in awhile. Found hair in tub. Went to move the shower head and the whole thing from the wall moved, very loose. Their pools are nice. The river pool is fun and their smaller pool also. A good size pool.

Horribke experience this weekend. If you want to be relax and rest this is not the hotel. This is an old hotel, tha bathroom is like a hospital bathroom, out dated. Also the bedroom, horrible beds, curtains and carpet. Also dirty, lot of allergies in the bedroom. There is no control for the COVID just a temperature check at the entrance and restaurante, however, no safety measures in the pool, no distance, a lot of people. Lifeguard checking the cellphone while in duty. I will not repeat never this hotel. It seems they have a new tower, however they don't care anymore about the old tower.

Don’t tell your kids there is a water park - it will be such a great surprise. It’s a really family friendly park and well supervised. We visited for Xmas 2020 - the date for trip adviser didn’t permit the timely review. Here are the top tips: You must stay in apartment block 2 - it’s new and lovely. You need the bell boy service from the front park - it saves a few navigation points because the hotel is large. Mayaguez is a regional hub and caters for locals and that means local tastes and not USA. And there are few Americans - which we liked. Staff was excellent - super friendly and efficient and in the family style. We liked that. This hotel is a really good option for exploring south of rincon. Fridge and safe in each room, no iron or board unless requested, tv etc was all up to date. I would recommend this hotel for families.
