Beware of false fees after you check out. This place charged us fees after we left. None of them are legit. Manager refuses to send proof or refund. The worse part is they charged us a pet cleaning fee. Our dog died not to long ago. Even if he was alive we would not be bringing him overseas. Such an insulting joke to be charged like this with no real proof or even an explanation. Shame on the manger.

We did the class day party at the hotel and everybody had a great time. Amarilis, Melissa and Luis were super helpful during the organization and the day of the activity. The fire pit at the beach for the fondue party was extra special.

Horrible experience 😪 I came sick to pleased my husband in his very special birthday. And they make me sicker. My blood pressure went to roof with such unpleasant experience. Room with bad Air Conditioner, security box with malfunction. I booked for my husband birthday and I called to request a bottle champagne with chocolate covered strawberries and they refused to take order before arrival, by the time of check in the Witch Front desk sour Ana treat us like a Pest.and told me no strawberries available! 🙃 whaaattttI after surprise was ruined $72.00 dollars charged for 6 straberries and and cheap bottle champagne. I decided to Check out early because Upsetting before arrival, check in wo rst. FINALLY CHECK OUT FOREVER. NEVER COME BACK. THE ONLY GOOD. We stayed at the Embassy Suites Dorado for our destination wedding/honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful and extremely accommodating! Camila Marcano at the front desk was very helpful with recommendations for my hair/dry cleaning. We were very impressed with her disposition for such a young lady. She is extremely professional! Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful and professional. Israel was very helpful with handling my dry cleaning process at the end of the week. We definitely recommend staying at this fabulous resort!

This place is awful from Management to the room. First off the room is disgusting. The carpet is filthy. Hasn't been cleaned in years. What my real issue is they charge you a pet cleaning fee I guess hoping that you don't notice or dont' dispute it. We didn't have a pet. They charged us a room cleaning fee. Our room was left in a perfectly fine order. They are just charging customers what they can. The worst part is after working with management for weeks they will not even tell you why they charged it or show you anything of what needed to be cleaned. You would think if something was bad enough to charge they would have snapped a picture and sent it to you. This way you're not left sitting there angry over frivolous charges. You could at least see what you are being charged for. …

I really hate to bash this place, but I can't get over a few things that really irked me. First, this place is in need of a little update. Everything in the room is on its last leg. The carpet is disgusting. I had to wear flip-flops the whole time. My feet were literally sticking to the floor. The carpet hasn't been cleaned in over 10 years. Breakfast was another thing I'm torn between. Jorge was great, I loved him. However, at 9am every day, other people were ripping down the buffet when it still had 30 minutes left. The guy taking it down wouldn't stop to let you get stuff or bring you anything. One day, they had bacon out and just left the empty pan there. When I asked when more was coming out, they said no. Sorry, but a major bacon offense would be leaving it out empty and not having any more coming. That's a tease. At least remove the pan so we didn't know what we missed. Happy hour was good. The pool was good. My last complaint is that it's like pulling teeth to get a luggage cart. Every day, I had to waste my time waiting for the front desk to get me one. It's like they're treating me like a child, locking me up. Then, the kicker on the last day, which really moved me from a 3-star rating to a 1-star rating, was the bellman or front desk guy. I was trying to check out and went for a cart. The front desk guy told me no. The bellman told me to ask the front desk guy. I went back and asked the front desk guy. He looked at the bellman, who was shaking his head no, and then he told me he couldn't. Really??? This is how you treat your guests? I had to make 3 trips to my room to get everything by hand. How, how can you treat a guest like this? I'm so upset I spent my money here. Update, as if I couldn't get anymore annoyed. Since this review they charged my room a pet fee. I don't even own a pet. We were traveling by plane. I def didn't have a pet. They also charged a deep cleaning fee. I know I left the room in good condition. Plus it's been 3 days and they have not even been able to provide us with a picture or any evidence what so ever anything extra they had to clean. The front desk person was Israel. Don't expect any good service from him if you see him. No ability to help anyone. Since I have always liked Embassy Suites and feel this place is better than one star. I'm going to see what they have to say for themselves about the room and how the front desk guy treated and I might adjust a few stars up. But no way is this place 5 stars.…

Place will scam you. Charged fees to our cc for cleaning after we left. They don't provided proof of anything that needed to be cleaned. No room service and charge your card after you check out with no warning or email stating why or proof of what needed to be cleaned.

I would avoid this place. They are stealing from the guest using false fees after you leave. First off they charged us a pet cleaning fee and tried to convince me I had a dog on site. We do not have a dog at all. They told me they were going to provide proof and still no proof given. Plus I'm coming from overseas. I'm not bringing a dog even if we had one. Next was a deep cleaning fee. Again, I was told by the manager they had proof they had to deep clean the room. Yet weeks later. No return call or email with a picture showing this proof. The room was pretty tidy when I left. The only complaint could be a trashcan piled up. This is only because they don't really offer room service and when you have a family for a week. The trash is going to pile up. So they dont clean your room while you're there and then charge you like they did. What a joke. The room was run down and pretty dirty to start with. Go look at their other 1 star reviews and you'll see this is a common complaint.…

The pictures in the website did not match. The hotel is very old, poor lighting inside. Very far from San Juan (taxi or Uber is expensive). The beach needs upkeep. The umbrella and lounging chairs are old and dirty looking. Breakfast needs upgrade as well

Staff was super friendly and helpful, hotel in general super nice. Went with my family, the kids loved the pool and my husband and me loved how kind, friendly and helpful everyone was. We want to specially thanks Carlos Rodriguez for his attention towards us, he helped us throughout all our stay, because of how good his treated us I'm sure we'll go back. Great experience.
