We stayed in Tradewinds for a night when we were in Vieques. The location of this hotel is perfect - it is right on one end of Malecon and is close by to the bars and restaurants. The bio-bay tour pick up/ drop of is just right in front of the hotel as well. The view of the bay from...

We spent three nights here in room 3. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and everything functioned. It was a bit dark since it's long and narrow and the only windows are in the bathroom and the door to the shared deck. But that didn't matter because we were only there to sleep and shower. The rest of the...

The staff was very very friendly! Especially David! We got our days mixed up and missed the date that we were supposed to check in. He went above and beyond and made arrangements so we could stay with them. He also make sure we could still go on the bio bay tour which was a breathtaking experience! The guest house...

Simple, clean rooms. Really, that's all you need, since all your time will be spent on the beach! You can tell the place is aging, but it is clean and comfortable. My biggest complaint is that the shower never got warm. The owners are super helpful and nice people.

This place was so perfect.... perfect location across the street from a walkway bordering the water very nice to take a stroll... just down the street from a few good homey bars and restaurants without the extreme bar nightlife feel. The staff and owners were all so very nice and helpful and the room (Room 02) was a pleasant surprise.....

Whenever we visit Vieques we eat at Trade Winds. The food has always been good, particularly dishes with sea food. You must start with a local drink such as passion fruit mojito with Puerto Rican rum. The appetizers are good - fried calamary and goat cheese with tomatoes. For main dish we shared a papardelle pasta with lobster, which was...

Nice place. Very clean. But simple. Rooms have necessities only. Not a fancy hotel but very nice and clean for the money. Was a bit noisy when the restaurant was open but was fine after 1030ish. The included breakfast in the morning was absolutely amazing. I had blueberry pancakes! We did the biobay package and that was great and very...

The dining room has a very nice view of the harbor in Esperanza, this alone sets Trade Winds apart from most other places it seems. The rooms are simple and sparse, and our room at least had no windows, so it had a dark cave like feel. The air conditioning worked well. There was only one electrical outlet in the...

We booked two nights in room 02 with the bio bay package and would do it again in a heartbeat. The room was clean and reasonably spacious for two adults. The a/c was more than adequate. We could access the free wifi from the room although the signal was weak. Room 02 is on the middle level with rooms below...
