Agree with recent reviewer even though we were there back in April. The beach directly in front of the hotel wasn't so great but easy to drive to nicer ones & fact that Malecon provides beach chairs, umbrella & cooler you can take with you is a really nice amenity we wish we had while on Culebra island more recently.

This area is very safe and children were there when I was there, although not many.

You can fiy or take the ferry from Fajardo to Vieques. Flying is faster and gernally less hectic. You can look at flights with Cape Air or Seaborne airlines. The ferry is more economical but it can run late and locals are given priority. Thank you Tiffany Malecon House
