We spent 3 full weeks on Vieques, stayed at the Acacia and we loved every minute of it! The hosts Douglas and Jose are great people, friendly, helpful, considerate and more. We felt completely at ease and if possible we will return there for sure. Robb&Ann Bouwmeester, The Netherlands.

Jose & Douglas were a pleasure to deal with. They were very prompt in their responses to any inquiry that I had. I'm a marketing major and I consider their customer service top notch for a business. We got the apartment on the second floor and it was very cozy. It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The...

Acacia is the best all-round guesthouse we ever stayed at when you factor in the excellent price, location and cleanliness. Usually one area is sacrificed for another but not here. The cost was great. The location was a short walk from the bars/restaurants but not too close so you could enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. The entire hotel was spotless and...

This is a very relaxing, roomy, breezy guesthouse that's kept absolutely spotless. It's small, but the rooms are big. Lots of tropical plants on site (mangoes, breadfruit, orchids, etc). Gorgeous star sighting from the rooftop deck. Very hospitable, caring owners that appear at just the right time but give you plenty of privacy. Great homebase to explore Vieques. And the...

I would recommend Acacia Guesthouse to anyone who's traveling to Vieques, wants a good location and very, very sweet accommodations. This was our 3 stay at the Guesthouse and it was as perfect as the previous trips. The guesthouse has everything you could want and Jose and Douglas are wonderful hosts. The rooms are very roomy with kitchens or kitchenettes...

Located at the back of Esperanca bay, few minutes walk to the restaurants and beach, you will enjoy quiet stay in any of four beautifully equipped ACACIA apartments. Morning sunrise from the roof terrace is spectacular!

I stayed here one weekend with family. It was amazing and would definitely come back. The guesthouse is not far from the beach-walking distance 5 minutes, as well as to restaurants(I would strongly recommend El Quenepo.) This guesthouse is very clean and quite roomy. Our room had a private terrace, as well as access to rooftop terrace, which we enjoyed...

If you are looking for a spotless, beautifully maintained apartment that is relatively close to the ocean, restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping (several blocks away), stay here. Douglas met my husband and me when we arrived and took time to explain the attractions of the town. He and Jose live in one of the apartments, and were always available...

Staying at Acacia Guesthouse is as homey as staying with your favorite relatives who give you the Best room in the house, except it's better, because you aren't obligated to plan your days around your hosts! In this case, it would have been fine to spend even more time with our hosts, because they are friendly, smart, charming, cultured, and...

“The Orquidea unit was very comfortable, but the bathroom is small. There is a nice sized armoire in the room which is helpful for storing your sundries, etc. so the bathroom doesn't become cluttered. Make a point of checking out the rooftop deck for sunset - so worth it!”
