Detailed Reviews
My teens were pushed down the stairs by another teen at the kids club!!!!!!!!!
The teen then laughed and scootered off with the vespas provided by the hotel staff (thumbs down). The vespa my teen received had a faulty wheel which spun off when they were going down the same stairs he fell down, incident #2 (thumbs down). But...I do have to say that the sand was especially warm on my tootsies (thumbs up)! I lovedddd the smell of the shampoos and it made my hair taste delicious (so my husband says) (thumbs up)!
My other kido did have a wonderful time playing on Rockwall- forgetting the time that she slipped and landed on the instructor (thumbs down). Anyways, do come here!!! IT IS AWESOME, especially the shampoos <3

The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful, so our stay was nice. However, be aware that the motorway it is next to is busy all the time. The pool is very small and the menu in the restaurant is very odd. There is no snack menu type food for light bites. Also everything is shut mid-afternoon if you arrive hungry as we did having missed lunch.
Being a bit out of town we needed taxis and they always took and age to turn up.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Both times, were, unfortunately, in the month of August. So, the dinner restaurant was not open. Plus there is no bar. This hotel is not close to very much....we did not have a car and taxis are not easy to get. The rooms themselves are clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good tho a bit pricey at 20 Euros.

+1
I'm not even sure where to characterize this place- a motel 6 (feels like that is insulting a motel 6). This place looks like the original Miami Vice threw up on it and the interior and furnishings probably haven't been updated since that show went off the air. The first room reeked of alcohol; 2nd room was apparently an "upgrade" with barely functional a/c, a thin mattress, worn out pillows and a grimy bathroom. The only plus is that this place has good water pressure, but even that is ruined by the fact that there are no shower curtains / doors and that the tub is set high and very slick so getting in / out is an adventure sport.

Convenient. Easily drive to points North and South. Nearby is Carrefour and even McDonalds! Martinique is so humid my fingerprint reader on the phone often failed! AC isn't quite strong enough to dry my undershirt overnight, but 2 nights were enough. I found a long sleeve zip placket sweat-wicking undershirt to be best for hiking; I should have brought more of them!
US Embassy is here so if you're concerned about safety (a problem in Jamaica, but not Martinique) that should put your mind at ease. Pool is not heated, was beautiful but not for acrophobics
Generally, in Martinique, we found public toilets surprisingly clean, mosquitoes not a problem in December. For the car, beware that some gas stations run out of unleaded gasoline

The hotel is well located however, the decor is outdated. You can smell the mold as you enter the hotel. There was mold in my room.
The staff is great, the restaurant is great but I wouldn't recommend. It needs serious renovation.

Having flown from Paris to Martinique and needing one night stopover my wife and I choose this hotel as it is close to the airport in Fort de France (20€ taxi ride). Bearing in mind that the island was badly hit by hurricane Dean one week previously we wondered what we would find.
The hotel was undamaged (but the gardens were destroyed). It was clean if a little shabby (picture hooks but no pictures; cushions missing from furniture; curtains unhooked and dishevelled). Some road noise as the hotel sits high above one of the main roads into town but this did not disturb our jet-lagged sleep. However, the air conditioning was excellent, the room large and the bathroom a good size.
We did not dine in the hotel but the breakfast was extensive and good. The eating facilities are on the 8th. floor beside a small "infinity swimming pool" which provides a superb veiw of the ocean and port.
The staff were helpful if somewhat indifferent in attitude.

My customer suggested this "business hotel" and yes it is very good for a business traveler if you are willing to sleep without A/C (the air was blowing air - not cold - and extremely humid). Hotel says they have WiFi in the rooms, was down for 4 days, when it came back the signal was so low it was impossible to connect. I killed two roaches in the room, mind you I was staying in room 720, I can imagine the entire property was infested... The front desk people were extremely nice about the situation and said the constantly tell the Management but they do not react.

Le mieux ce sera de louer une voiture, plus pratique et économique, les taxis restent chers en Martinique. Faut compter 20€ le trajet sinon.
