Small but very nice place to be if you look for a cosy and clean hotel in FdF. Friendly and helpful service, take the rooms streetside, so you can hear the streetmusic from the park opposite the hotel. Generally recomendable !

good location( looking out at Fort and Park). clean enough. but quite unwelcoming and not “charming” in the least. We were hoping for a flavor of the “old town” and room was stark black and white. bed squeaked, no soap in shower, no sign of Carribean touch. Maybe this is typical of hotels in Fort de France, but no ground floor lobby. Woman at the desk upstairs was friendly.

Great for a weekend escape and wanting to be in the heart of Fort de France.

Very welcoming host with a quick check in process.

Rooms were clean and very comfortable bed and included coffee machine and a mini fridge with bottled water. Internet was acceptable for the limited time we used it.

Lots of places to dine within five minute walk.

Parking is not available but was not difficult to find.

Will happily return and recommend.

Norwegian just started flying out to Martinique, so with the inexpensive flights, of course I went to Martinique for the weekend.

Room: It was simple. Bed, TV, dresser, chair, desk, fridge, coffee machine. Nothing fancy, but everything you needed for a few days stay. Shower drain was a little slow, but everything else was fine.

Hotel Amenities: FREE WIFI!!!!! Hotel was clean, quiet and in a great location. Soda and water in fridge. Jean Pascal (hotel/front desk manager) was super helpful(and spoke English!). He stayed late to check us in, and gave us great advice on where to go and how to spend our days. Small hotel, almost felt like small apartments. Secure entry, cleaning was done daily.

Location: No better location if wanting to stay in Fort de France. It is directly across from the fort, la savane park, few larger hotels, ferry/cruise terminal and direct shot to the highway. Basically in the middle of the island, and 20 minutes from the airport. Parking is free on the weekends, and each night we were able to park steps from the hotel.

Surroundings: Lots of restaurants, supermarket within blocks, alley with fun trinkets very close, literally in the middle of fort de france.

What we did: All the towns are quaint with a few things to do. One day drove south---Stopped in Le trois Illet and then ended up in Diamond Beach. The slave memorial was super interesting and beach was gorgeous. Next day drove north---Stopped in Le Carbet(great black sand beach and stop at Jackos), then St. Pierre(stop at theater/jail for some great history and interesting island culture. Food was yummy, take a chance, stop on the side of the beach for an authentic meal, its totally worth it.

Helpful tips: Rent a car, we were able to get to the top of the island towards Mt. Pelee and bottom on the island near Diamond Beach both less than 90 min drive. Saturday nights they have salsa in the park, its a bit confusing but so awesome. Exchange money at bank bf going to island.

Recommend paying the extra for the upgraded rooms. Within a few yards of the beach, fort & interesting sights. Friendly receptionist allowed us into the room, even though we were a few hours early. Studio had kitchenette including fridge stocked with drinks.

As others have pointed out, you'll have to put up with a LOT of noise from the sea front and park over a weekend. Worst night's sleep in a long time.
In saying that the staff are really helpful and pleasant. I managed to book my stay for the wrong weekend but the girl on reception was really helpful in correcting it. Nice coffee in the basic room. I did have two resident mosquitos as well but if staying mid week it's a great, safe location.

About a 30 euro taxi trip from the airport. Conveniently located to the fort, a small beach in the harbor, pizza, ice cream, tourist shops, museums. Staff speaks fluent english and can readily order a taxi back to the airport. Europcar will deliver a car to the hotel entrance. You can catch intercity buses nearby. The room is large, clean, quiet, and has full kitchen facilities.

First and foremost the decorè of the hotel is beautiful, with an elegant touch of modern and great park and marina view you truly feel a sense of comfort and relaxation while here. Secondly, the staff is simply amazing. They were truly helpful, and respectful and for lack of better terminology family oriented. I ran into some issues while here and the staff at the hotel were most accommodating and supportive to any and all my needs. I would like to specifically thank Jean Pascal for his extended efforts and overall help! I highly recommend anyone to stay here, and enjoy the great atmosphere it presents.
