This is the perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful, scenic stay in the beautiful nature of Saba. Also great for traveling solo. This is not the place to stay if you want the services and amenities of a fancy hotel or resort. Be prepared to hike up a flight of stairs to get here. Rest assured that... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in one of the budget cottages with a shared bathroom. The cottage was really nice with two beds, mosquito net, towels and a shelf to put your clothes and other stuff on. Very well maintained, really quiet, a very nice pool with an amazing view!! The owner of the place is absolutely fantastic, and... More

It's hard to describe the most picturesque place I've ever been. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Cottage in the Sky and it felt like living in a cloud at the top of the world. Magical. If the setting wasn't perfect enough, the owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating. One of the best parts was being served a home-cooked... More

El Momo is amazing. At almost the top of Saba island, you'll find tranquility, peace, clouds and clouds. Yes, the steps (60!) to the office seem daunting, and if you choose to stay at cottage in the sky (60 more) you might need a beer break at the honor bar, but what this place lacks in horizontal consistency it makes... Wonderful, rustic, romantic accommodation. Andreis is a good host with charming stories and great recommendations. Cottage in the Sky was romantic and secluded, although be aware of the stairs! Highly advise you use a backpack rather than traditional luggage while visiting Saba, but particularly at this hotel. The pool was terrific and the views are better here than any other... More

I totally agree with other reviewers, it's like camping but better. Yes there are insects, but you are in nature, it's to be expected; I had not one mosquito bite, which is more than I can say for some other nicer places I've stayed. We had a shower issue our first night, but it was corrected immediately by Andries. It's... More

When choosing our facility for the nights on Saba we stumbled upon El Momo. We were in for simple, charming, close to the shops and far away enough from the shops at the same time! We came from St Maarten, we were in for peace! We also wanted a warm shower and electricity. So.. El Momo! When we booked we... More

The owner Andries is a very friendly host, with a good(our) sense of humour. He can and will arrange anything you like (taxi's, bookings in restaurants,...) The houses are excellent for people who appreciate nature and don't need hairdryers, airconditioning, tv, etc. Like somebody wrote; camping in the rainforest! Indeed. And we liked it a lot. The view, the sounds,... More

I can see why some people either love or hate this place. I LOVED it. It was a week of living in the rainforest, sights and sounds of nature all around me at all times. So if you are squeamish or don't like nature, this is not the place for you... in fact, Saba is probably not the place for... More

Absolutely LOVED my stay here! I wished I had stayed here longer! What a welcome relief especially after I had an awful 2 night stay elsewhere. What I loved: From pretty much wherever you are, you have an amazing vista...into infinity....the sky, the ocean, and the hills. It really just takes your breath away. Even my bathroom had a GORGEOUS... More
