I stayed here recently for the 2nd time. The first being when Saga owned it. I feel it is still as good and with some improvements and I believe many more on the way, which I will look forward to seeing. The staff were mainly the same as before so to me that was good as they are fantastic and...

We went back because we had a great time in 2016. Under new ownership but still charming. Room, food, staff and entertainment all excellent. The shuttle bus took us around and we enjoyed going to Pigeon island for swimming and snorkelling. Might well go back for a third visit!

I had reservations that the hotel would change after it was sold but I was wrong. The staff are as friendly as ever, the food good, cleanliness of the hotel impeccable. There are plans for additions and changes to the hotel but these will not alter how the hotel is run. They still run a courtesy bus which is welcoming...

The Bel Jou hotel was owned by Saga but is now owned by the Sun Group of Barbados. While we were there the new management were also visiting looking at how to improve the hotel. I must say they have started some improvements straight away. New hand rails, walk ways, gardening work, extra plants and in house training of staff....

My plan was to stay at Castries before getting to Vieux Fort the next day. I was amazed of the warm welcome and the overall service of the hotel staff. The facilities also exceed my expectations. I wanted to stay longer but was on a business trip so hopefully will visit again on vacation mode.

We booked with Saga and were a bit concerned about the change of ownership but we need not have worried, the hotel is super with lovely rooms, we were on the fifth floor and had amazing views. Our room was kept immaculately clean by Curian, towels changed as often as we wanted and toiletries, coffee, tea etc renewed without us...

After saying what I wanted from my hotel, total peace, relaxation, good food and a lovely setting, I Was recommended this hotel by the lovely Liz at Saga as she had stayed here. My first impressions of the hotel as we drove up the steep hill werent good! Large...

The Bel Jou sits high up on a hill overlooking Castries. There's no beach access, but there is a nice pool. They attract an older crowd that are quite happy to tan by the pool and read. However, if you'd like more of an adventure, you can book any number of tours at the front desk. As other reviewers said,...

This was a wonderful hotel with fantastic views over Castries where the cruise ships dock. The rooms were very big, comfortable and clean. All the facilities like the pool, poolside restaurant, lounge, and dining room were very well looked after. Food was very good with lots of choice.just a shame the hotel is away from anywhere you could walk to,...

Oh!, The wonderful Saint Lucian staff make this a wonderful place. I made very good friends with one of the staff, I cannot mention their name because they are forbidden to fraternise with guests. I am now firm friends with their Mother and Father, Grand Mother and family. I saw the REAL Saint Lucia, not just the tourist part. We...
