We too were disappointed with our stay at Bel Jue. It was less than described in the brochure. The food deteriorated during the two weeks over Christmastime. The wine changed from very good to acidic. There were many complaints. The entertainment was repetitive and lacked cultural flavour. The hotel is shabby. Some sun beds and shades need replacing. The pool...

This is very much improved hotel, new warm and friendly also very professional staff, the rooms have refurbished to a very good standard, also the restaurant area as been modernised. Food quality and quantity again as improved immensely. I can highly recommend this hotel. Well done to Carmen and her team. One of the best Xmas ever.

I thoroughly support Stephen's comments on the drivel from Eleanor S. I have lived in the Caribbean for 4 years working for the UK Government. In that time I travelled extensively through the beautiful islands in this Sea. The Hotel Bel Jou compares very favourably with the 30 or so hotels I have stayed at in the Caribbean. The staff,...

I chose this hotel for a last minute break in the sun. Everything that was presented in the description was spot on so I had no disappointments during my stay there. In fact I can only commend the highly professional management, the very friendly helpful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble and the saga rep Elizabeth who bent...

I'm writing this on my balcony at the Bel Jou, with wondrous views over the Caribbean. It's our fourth Xmas holiday here and we keep coming back because of the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, and the compatibility of our fellow guests. There's nothing wrong with the food and the pool is nice and shady and refreshing. I've only...

I cannot let all the drivel this woman has written go without comment ( I assume the S stands for snob) . Firstly if people want to have 3 meals a day what has that go to do with her and if they also want a drink early in the day the same thing applies . I was there for...

Returned yesterday from a four week stay at his hotel and regret the booking. This was a holiday of firsts- with Saga, Virgin Upper Class, Caribbean, and all inclusive, We would never do any of them again. The only good point of the holiday was the transfers in this country which were superb. We tried to return home after a...

Stayed for three weeks in November. Although it was the rainy season this did not spoil the holiday. Good points - food was excellent - fresh, beautifully cooked and a good selection for all including veggies. Try the breadfruit pie, its delicious. Good complimentary bus 2 -3 times daily to Castries centre, Vigie Beach (for local swimming), Rodney Bay (for...

Just got back from the Bel Jou after a brilliant 10 day stay. Saga really looked after us from our home pickup, Airport transfers, Hotel Representative, Tour guides and final trip back to our home. We couldn't fault any of it. The Hotel and all its Staff were superb, food of a very high standard and fast happy service. We...
