Spent two nights at Turquoise Shell Inn prior to a week-long villa rental. The 10-room motel is in the heart of Simpson Bay. Excellent access to all the bars, restaurants and retail on Welfare Road - most are within walking distance. The efficiency two-room studios with full kitchenette are spotlessly clean and well stocked. The kitchenette allows the option of...

The Touqoise Shell is a well-maintained little hotel, between the beach (Simpson Bay) and the highway. The hotel features very clean rooms with a kitchen an sitting area, and is well-stocked for your basic needs (cable TV, coffee maker, aircon, fan, etc.). The Inn's staff are excellent, and expert on the island. they also provided us with beach chairs, umbrella,...

Not only did we enjoy the hotel (so comfortable and clean) we benefited from the assistance of our host who helped find restaurants, stores, beaches, island sites in addition to booking special activities such as our sunset cruise and snorkeling. He quickly responded to our every whim and we loved that part! Definitely deserves a return trip.

Four of us stayed eight nights and had a wonderful time. There is a good selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. I give thumbs up to the Pizza Galley just on the other side of the drawbridge and the little French bakery back the other direction towards the airport. If you don't mind slumming a bit, the little trailer...

This is a smaller hotel but very private and gated for security. Rooms on the 1st floor have private patio which are very nice and are shaded by big trees and smaller plants which are well taken care of. We were concerned at first because rooms 1, 2 (we were in) and 3 border the parking lot. This turned out...

This place is the Best ! The staff Carter, Marcus & Pauline are very friendly & want to make sure you have the best vacation possible. Marcus booked all our excursion's, provided beach towels, chairs and a small cooler. This hotel is quaint, very clean and comfortable right on the water and a very short cab ride from the airport...

My excitement started long before my arrival at the Turquoise Shell Inn. I would check T.A. weekly for new reviews, and as I would read all the outstanding comments, my excitement would grow and grow. Upon my arrival at TSI, I couldn't have been more pleased than I was. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Marcus and shown...

It was really a great stay at the TShell. Marcus was wonderful the whole time, always giving us suggestions, advice and directions. Pauline, the housekeeper, kept the rooms very clean. She was even so nice as to notice I left my watch on our porch while we were at the beach, so she picked it up and put it in...

We spent almost two weeks at the Turquoise Shell Inn last month. The inn is quaint - 10 small 1 bedroom apts. and a tiny pool. It is only a few steps from Simpson Bay, which is a very quiet beach and easy swimming. The rooms are very clean. For us, the outstanding part of this trip was the care...

We were very happy with our efficiency rooms as it allowed us to have breakfast and snacks at our leisure. The housekeeper was excellent and cleaned our rooms everyday except Sun. when she does not work. Carter & Marcus run a tight ship to their credit. The grounds are meticulous and there are security gates for safety, but beware not...
