Looking at the brochure, you would imagine this hotel to be stunning. it is, in fact, like lots of other Caribbean hotels - it was probably really nice about 30 years ago. All that seems to happen with these places is that they are given a lick of paint from time to time, and if anything breaks, it is repaired... More

Sat here in bar bringing beer and using their wifi. Service good if a little slow and they add 15% Service. View of marina with hills in background. Shame to move but needs must. Food looks ok but cannot comment as not tried. Local Carib beer defiantly hit the spot.

We didn't stay at this hotel so can only review the Coffee shop/restaurant. Great location overlooking the marina and a lovely airy bar/restaurant area. The chickens walking through are a novelty! Free WIFI is available and I would certainly enjoy breakfast here. We ordered a snack lunch of vegetable soup and conch fritters and both were very good. Service wasn't... More

We had reserved a "suite" for two adults and two children. It turned out to be two rooms with separate keys. The main room had a king bed and a separate living room with dining table and frig. The second room had a smaller bed and no real windows. The rooms were not connected and you had to go into... More

Family (H and W and 3 kids, 12, 12 and 14) went on a one week sailing cruise. Flew in to STT then ferry to Tortola. Had to spend the night as cruise started next day. Cruise boat met us at Village Cay. We spent the night there. Conditions poor. Little to do and nothing immediately nearby to walk to... More

Poor to average facilities, sparse outdated and the bed mattresses were so far gone I nearly dumped them myself., a poor quality breakfast ( we had 10 breakfasts in other places this was the worst quality on the entire islands). Basically it charges way too much for what you get . Other reviews are spot on its not unfriendly but... More

Nice location right on the water of the Marina & yacht moorings. Village Cay Hotel Restaurant in Road Town Tortola is laid back with average service & facilities. The restaurant has rather slow service & the staff seemed disinterested. I had the Village Cay Secrets which is chicken fried in batter & lightly flavoured with honey. It was tasty but... More

We stopped by here on a Sunday morning for breakfast as they were pretty much only thing open at marina. Were seated promptly, had coffee and juice and each had the breakfast burritos. Food took maybe 20 minutes and it was good. There isn't much open in Road Town on Sunday mornings, so if you're booking a charter or something... More

I have been going down to the British Virgin Islands for years now to work. We usually stay at Village Cay. It is a nice little hotel that has a large marina, restaurant, and a bar. This last trip it seems like they have had some changes in management. The menu was much smaller and they were out of a... More

This would be my very last option. The staff is pretty friendly, however the rooms need to be updated, modern tv, fresh paint jobs and what not.. My complaints are I asked for an iron from the reception desk 3 times and still no iron not even upon my departure. The Resturant part needs more staff.. And if possible control... More
