My husband and I went to bed rather early due to a long day of travel. We slept with a white noise machine on so we didn't hear the noise from the bar. To our surprise at 12:30am, management CAME INTO OUR ROOM telling us to shut the shower off. Obviously we were completely caught off guard since we were both fast asleep and there was absolutely no water running in our bathroom. When we approached the front desk in the morning they insisted that we had the shower running. Thank GOD we were only there for a night, and will never stay there again!
We went on a 7 night sail charter with another couple and wanted to stay an extra night because we didn’t want to be rushed to get to the airport to fly home. My wife had found this place and booked it without ever seeing it. We were surprised, to,say the least. This little hotel was awesome! The room was very well appointed and clean. The people were super friendly, like really friendly. We especially enjoyed the outdoor restaurant. We had lunch and dinner. We all felt the food was great. We happened to be there on a Saturday night and it turns out they have free Bingo on Thursday and Saturday nights. It was a lot of fun and there were a lot of people there, from all over. Super fun. If you make it to Tortola and need a great like place to stay by the ocean, this is it.…
We stayed for one night between Christmas and New Years in what was supposed to be a “Mountain View Double”. When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to a cliff side room. The upgraded room was one bed and a pulled out couch. As a family of 4, we prefer 2 beds which is why we booked the room we did. The upgraded room was also quite far down the road and since we were travelling with children we decided we would rather stick with the room we originally booked. Problem was, the room that we booked had clearly been given to someone else even though we had booked 2 months in advance. We ended up in what I think was a “Tropical Double” but for the price of the Mountain View Double. We travel to the British Virgin Islands often and were disappointed with the stay due to being charged for a superior room and being given a basic room. We feel we should have been charged accordingly if our room type had changed. The bingo night was fun and the food in the restaurant was decent. Staff was friendly.…
We rented an oceanfront junior suite. Accommodations were basic but just our style. Anything else we needed was available. Bed and pillows very comfortable, and nice towels. Great view from the balcony to watch surfing. Nice lawn chairs to relax down below. Restaurant was a nice convenience and food was excellent, although a little pricey. Fun activities available in the adjoining lanai. Location was an easy drive to other spots like Cane Garden Bay, West End and Road Town. Would love to return!
We just wanted to say what a fabulous time we had at Sebastian’s on the beach in Tortola A massive thank you to Tameka , Catanya , Cora, Nicky , Sandra and the Boss lady ( apologies we didn’t know your real name) who looked after our room You all made our holiday with great service and food and with a welcoming smile and happy faces Thank you do much & hope we can return to see you all sometime in the future Glenn & Paul 😎❤️
There was no hot water. There were bugs in the bathroom. The floor was spongy I was worried we would fall through. There was something banging on the roof all night long - we got no sleep. The windows looked right onto the local graveyard, stay away from room 36. The safe was broken. Overall I would not recommend the rooms / resort is not in good condition.
A great hotel, right on the beach, and the people working there are fantastic and friendly. You do need taxis to get around, ask the front desk to call Murlise (the only Murlise in BVI) or her son Eddy, they are wonderful.
We stayed at the villa on the mountain near the Sebastian beach . We had a breakfast , lunch and the dinner here on different days. We were moved by the entire staff’s kind gestures. Dahlia and Caytania; especially were very congenial, amiable and cordial. Just can’t say enough about them. We love you guys! Prashant and Prachi Kshirsagar
This place is absolutely wonderful!! The staff was so friendly and kind! They have us all sorts of good ideas on the best places to see and go to! The food is delicious, I highly recommend the “catch of the day” pasta, I could not get enough!! They also changed out the colors of balloons for my friends birthday 🎂
We stayed at Sebastions after deciding to come to Tortola at the last minute. We upgraded to the King suite that was literally right on the beach, in fact we had to close the door in the night because the surf was too loud. Great problem to have. Lol. The beach was beautiful white sand and although a little tricky to get in was very swimmable. There were stones just where the waves broke. Anyway the place was great and the staff were wonderful. Now we knew nothing about Tortola and most reviews we read were from people that have spent a lot of time there. So if you're staying at Sebastions or probably anywhere get a car. It costs about 50 bucks to get a taxi from the airport and at least 25 bucks wherever you go. The roads are interesting but the drivers are courteous. We wanted to see the other islands but found there was so much to do on Tortola that we will wait til next time and rent a boat for the day.…
