Little Dix Bay was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at in the Caribbean. The rooms were stunningly beautiful and private. The service and staff was exceptional. Everyone could not have been nicer or more helpful during our five day stay. They truly go above and beyond for you. For example: my girlfriend was sick our first day of...

My family just came back from 8 days at Little Dix bay. All I can say is wow!!!! - great food, great rooms, great beach, great service, and simply, a great resort. We have been to many of the finer places in the Caribean including Mustique, Anguilla (Cap Juluca and Malliouhana), and Jumby Bay, and I must say, LDB beat...

We stayed here for four nights from 4-7 February 2012 inclusive. We had spent a week sailing around the BVI's in a Catamaran with friends. Landing where we did on this beautiful bay was an oasis. The comfort incomparable and the beach exquisite. Within the reef snorkelling was interesting and safe. There are many trips to other islands which we...

My wife and I stayed here for much needed R and R. The location is ideal and the place never seemed crowded. There is more to do at this resort than most Caribbean locations--including a well appointed gym, tennis, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and ping pong. The attention to detail was unusual-- top quality towels on the beach, sunscreen and...

We have been looking forward to going to Little Dix Bay for a number of years - after we discovered the RockResorts at Jenny Lake Lodge in the Tetons. The resort is absolutely beautiful, quiet, restful - with many water activities, fitness center and tennis. Our room (an Oceanside Cottage) was delightful - fresh, roomy and convenient to the beach....

Overall: We stayed eight nights at Little Dix for our honeymoon and it was perfect. My wife and I both have consuming jobs, so the ability to unplug and step away from everything (especially coming at the heels of a wedding) hit the spot. You are paying for the wonderful setting and the, for lack of a better word, exclusivity....

Two "5 for 4" back to back - 10 days for cost of 8. Irresistible. Managment goes our of it's way to please. Little things are big things, like bright bulbs in the rooms for reading. Our room was spick and spam. All rooms are convient to the water. The fact that on the beach was a hut with towles...

My husband and I spent five nights at Little Dix Bay for the last half of our honeymoon around the BVI. It was pure magic. We chose a romance package that included breakfast and dinner daily, several spa services including a mani/pedi, facial, and massage for two, a torchlight dinner on the beach, and a picnic lunch drop on the...

The folks at Little Dix Bay bend over backwards to be friendly and helpful. But as with almost any operation things can go wrong. For example, our bill was grossing wrong because of a computer error. It was, however, quickly fixed. The food was quite good, though about the same as at some of the better Sandals properties. Our room...

This review is long overdue. We visited Little Dix last year for 5 days, after 5 nights at their sister resort Caneel Bay. It was our first trip to Little Dix, and did not know what to expect. We stayed on a beachfront suite, newly renovated and steps away from the beach. There is only one beach but it is...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rosewood Little Dix Bay is currently closed for a comprehensive renovation and is scheduled to re-open in late 2017. The iconic Rosewood Little Dix Bay is currently closed for a comprehensive, multi-million dollar restoration, which will be the most substantial beautification project since the resort was founded by Laurance S. Rockefeller over 50 years ago. The restoration will include the complete redesign of the resort’s guestrooms and suites, its three restaurants and overall enhancements to the resort’s gardens and landscaping. New York City-based Meyer Davis Studio will lead the restoration, working alongside Miami-based architectural firm OBMI. Together these agencies will honor Laurance S. Rockefeller’s unique vision of a luxurious hideaway set amidst the pristine backdrop of Virgin Gorda. The renewal will bring about a new level of sophistication in keeping with the natural setting, whilst introducing brand new signature suites for the ultimate in relaxation and style. A rebuilt Beach Grill will offer a one-of-a-kind beach dining experience, while the iconic Pavilion and Sugar Mill buildings will remain intact but will feature extended indoor/outdoor dining areas. Guests will also enjoy an elevated arrival experience and the resort’s vibrant tropical gardens will be enhanced with new lighting, signage and improved access to Little Dix Bay beach. The renovation will also bring the addition of new restaurant concepts for The Pavilion, Beach Grill and Sugar Mill; new world-class amenities; elevated service standards and an increased focus on sustainability. Upon reopening towards the end of 2017, Rosewood Little Dix Bay will reaffirm its legacy as the Caribbean’s leading luxury resort. ... more   less
