I just spent the weekend in Ardgort House with my boyfriend. I can only say thank you John, for your kindness and your hospitality (and for the delicious breakfast!) We will never forget this wonderful weekend, we wish we could have stayed longer

A very warm welcome from John, were made to feel at home instantly. Got to experience heartfelt hospitality. The room was lovely, spacious and warm. Highly recommend dining in, the food is not only delicious also of quality you would come to expect in the city. We only regret was that we were only there for 2 nights.

We stayed for one night in the Ardgort on our way to Donegal. The owner John senior was very pleasant when we arrived and throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. He has a good way about him. The bedroom was big and had a balcony off it that would be nice to sit out in the summer....

We were on a road trip in Ireland and we stayed in John's place just to pass the night. We ended up staying there 4 days. The room, the town, the amenities and most importantly - John, his family (and of course his dog Tully) were wonderful. We enjoyed it very much. The place is really recommended for people looking...

The room was very shabby and the bed was uncomfortable. The restaurant is closed on a Wednesday which is not advertised anywhere. Luckily we chanced on Red Peppers and had a really good meal. Breakfast was ok but had limited choices. Wi fi was a challenge and kept dropping signal.
