Took a last minute trip to Aberdaron to visit some friends who have a holiday home there. Had a fabulous stay at the Ship, the proprietor was so so helpful & friendly. He kindly offered us a choice of rooms which had sea views. The room was lovely, super clean, comfy bed & very cosy. We will definitely go back...

Having changed our booking from Wed/Thur to Thur/Fri because there was no catering on Wednesday, and finding that the Ship was a rather basic looking corner establishment, I was prepared to find that I had made a mistake in taking my wife and two old friends there for a short winter break. What a relief! Very friendly welcome, large well...

My daughter and I stayed and dined here for two nights as part of a walking holiday along the coast. We ate in the bar both nights but ordered off the restaurant menu. The menu was more sophisticated than I had expected and the food was very good. Our top floor room was very spacious with a partial view to...

Aberdaron is a very small village by the sea. The ship hotel offers reasonably priced meals, nicely served in the dining area, friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised, didn't feel ripped off. Dogs allowed in the bar, where food can also be served.

six of us had a meal here whilst staying in Aberdaron. Plenty of choice on menu, we all had different meals and each one was well presented and delicious. Friendly staff, service not too bad considering it was a busy Sunday night and there were only two serving staff on duty.

3 colleagues and I had a meal at the Ship a couple of weeks ago. The food was excellent, the service similar and whilst slightly on the pricey side we did not mind paying for the quality of the food and service we received. Highly recommended.
