I choose the hotel due to the good rate online. My room (No. 1) was spacoius and very clean. The reception was friendly and the hotel area is really nice. The clientel is not young, so after 9.00 p.m. everybody seem to sleep. Good place for one or two nights to really relax. The food (room service) was a disapointment....

Having been a frequent visitor to Montpelier for 30 years plus a bit more every year, and some occasions twice a year, my wife and I find MPI retains its special charm, it truly offers total relaxation. The owners of Montpelier now have two young managers running the property, under the watchful eye of Muffin Hoffman, ( one of the...

Absolutely wonderful property located up the mountain on the island of Nevis. Gorgeous property with great staff and beautiful gardens, great food, quiet pool and bar area and close to everything that you would want to do on the island. The island of Nevis is beautiful w/great reastaurants and fun cafes on the beaches; but, hanging out at the Resort...

If you want a relaxing hide away with attentive staff, beautiful gardens and and simplistic calm decor, then Montpelier is the place to be. We very much enjoyed the half board option. Also, as it was a special occasion we dined in the Mill Privee and a lovely member of staff sang a personal Happy Birthday. There are cocktails to...

Welcoming and smiling staff, spacious accommodation, good food, amazing location - from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the staff. An air of tranquility reigns. The views to the sea are great. The private beach is an added bonus. We really enjoyed the bbq sunset dinner on the beach. The island's Botanic Garden is virtually next door....

Montpelier is a place of tranquillity and beauty, sleepy but never dull-- serene and elegant and never stuffy. There is something to do every day in an optional, revolving program for full appreciation of the hotel facilities and island. We last visited Nevis and Montpelier 20 years ago. The island has been upgraded, good roads now, and wonderful views still...

We recently spent a week at Montpelier and absolutely loved it! The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained, the staff was excellent, and the food was delicious. We stayed in room 10, which was private with distant views of the ocean and lovely breezes every day. We used Champ as a driver to take us to other places to...

We were recently married at this wonderful resort. It was wonderful! Everything is 5 star. We had 20 guests with us. Highly recommend all food, rooms, SPA.....everyone was attended to, not one complaint. If you are pondering a private destination wedding, this should be your choice. What I found to be the most interesting is the return visits. Almost Everyone...

This place is absolutely stunning. The grounds are amazingly well-kept and staff is friendly and helpful. We chose this location for our wedding because we wanted somewhere that was historically authentic and didn't feel like a "wedding factory". We wanted to be able to have friends and family spend a few days before the wedding relaxing and taking in the...
