Four of us stayed here for 2 months as part of our medical elective and we had a great time! The owners Leslie and Voke are both very welcoming and helpful, and always on hand to answer questions. We even got involved in a heritage party they threw at the apartments which was a great experience! They gave us a phone to use whilst we were on the island which was invaluable for organising taxis etc. One of the best taxi drivers we had was called Troyton and he did our airport transfers. He is really lovely and has a great knowledge of the island and can recommend places to go! The on-site caretaker Mr Nelson was also great and always on hand should you need anything. The apartment was clean and homely, with everything you need! Sheets and towels were changed when we wanted which was also a great perk. The balcony had great views over Scarborough and out to sea and was a nice place to relax and watch the sunset. The pool too was a great addition, clean and well looked after and a good place to escape the heat of the day. There is free wifi too which came in very handy! The apartment is in a good location, about a 25 minute drive to the airport and only a 10 minute walk into Scarborough itself. There are also two supermarkets nearby. Whether it be for short breaks or longer we would all recommend Hummingbird Heights for anyone wanting a welcoming and friendly place to stay on their trip to Tobago. If your looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet this place is great. My family and I stayed in July 2015 in the second apartment. Several the pros and cons Pros - The place was clean - Enough room for everyone (7 persons) - Great View - Amazing Pool - Great customer service - Nearby grocery (15 mins walking) Cons - To many steps from the moment you enter there is steps not recommended for senior citizens - Very far from beaches - Water problems with the toilet

The (PRO) Public Relations Officer, has been really helpful and understanding. She was on-time to welcome us to our Rooms. The rooms were great. Lots of Space to put your personal items. The view from the balcony is A-amazing, especially when the sun is rising, or when the rain falls and the rainbow comes out in the sky. It is really beautiful. When you look down to the pool at night when the lights come on its breath taking. I really enjoyed the FREE GYM # a good walk up to the Third story and back down (steps) when you love to stay Fit and Healthy. The location is great, the area is peaceful about 10 minutes drive from the Port to Hummingbird Heights, and about 30 minutes drive to Store Bay. It has a supermarket about 5 minutes drive . Oh and the best part FREE WI-FI.

I came to Tobago with my Family on a short vacation and stayed at Hummingbird heights. It was a real pleasure from when Leslie picked us up from the airport till Voke dropped us off on our return. Leslie and Voke were always available to us, and with their vast knowledge of the island and all the goings on, it was so much easier to navigate and have great fun. They made sure we had a very good time and we were very well taken care of. Suffice it to say it was a perfect combination of relaxation and fun and we will be coming back soon The apartment is strategically placed at the top of a hill and it gives you an almost 280 degree view of the island and a perfect view of the Scarborough harbor. All the rooms are very neat and the beds very comfortable. they had every amenity that you will need at home. It was more like home away from home .…

Mr. Garber and family were very hospitable to my wife an I. The apartments were spacious, comfortable and has all amenities. What I enjoyed was the view from the apartment overlooking the capital of Tobago, Scarborough, the pool- which was always inviting and the availability of secure parking.

We stayed at Hummingbird as a group of 5 students for 4 weeks in February 2015. Leslie and Voke were excellent hosts and we had a great month in Tobago. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with predominantly double beds, a good shower and reliable wi-fi. Leslie and Voke provided airport transfers, a tour of the island and glass-bottomed boat tour, a local phone for the duration of our stay and organised car rental for us. The apartments are easy walking distance from Scarborough, but a car is essential for exploring the rest of the island since the main tourist beach (Pigeon Point) is about 20 mins drive away. The pool is well maintained and a fantastic addition to the apartments. The only problem we had was a lack of running water for about 4 days (we went during dry season and there was a problem with one of the water pipes on the island), but Leslie organised regular water deliveries for us and we were much better off than most of the locals during this period. Came with a group of friends on elective. Accommodation was conveniently located near two supermarkets in Scarborough. Our stay was comfortable. Apartment cleaned weekly including fresh towels and linen. The pool was a particular treat. Our hosts Leslie and Voke were very welcoming and helpful, proving free airport transfer and an island tour which was one of our most memorable days. Went above and beyond to ensure we had running water even when there was none on the island. Many thanks. Would recommend!

My family, friends and I visited over the Christmas holidays and brought in the New Year as well. We felt at home when we got to HBH. Our apartment had really high windows that let the cool, sweet Caribbean air in and if that gets too humid for your liking, the bedrooms are air conditioned (works well). The almost 360 degree panoramic view is spectacular and almost immediately puts your mind in vacation mode. HBH is clean (I am a clean/neat freak). The pool area could do with some work (more lounge chairs, clean up the area with the junk so it can be used for something more useful such as bar area etc. The grill really needs a lot of work. Apart from these minor fixes, I would recommend HBH.

My girlfriend and I stayed for close to 4 weeks in March 2014 for my medical elective. Leslie was an excellent host, always there when you needed him. He promised to pick me up from the airport and as soon as I arrived he was there waiting for me, a man of his word, he also went out of his way to pick up my girlfriend later that day. The apartment is very close to Scarborough, only a 10 minute stroll and there were two supermarkets within 5 minutes. The apartment was very tidy and we got a weekly change of towels. The pool and the surrounding area were always spotless. We stayed on the third floor with a balcony and had a view out over the sea As we were long staying guests he gave us a complimentary island tour and boat trip, one of our best days in Tobago. My husband and i stayed for 4 nights at this lovely establishment in January 2014. Ms.Voke a very lovely lady accommodated our early arrival. The rooms were very clean and so was the pool. The area was very quiet and the location was great as we had a vehicle. The hotel is close to Scarborough and there are two mini groceries 5 mins away. If you're looking for a cheap, clean and quiet place with a pool, this is definitely it!
