This hotel/condo was chosen by a friend for six of us to stay in (after doing a lot of research) to celebrate a fiftieth birthday! She chose it for its boutique-like feel (90 rooms), the arrangements of studios and one bedrm or even two bedrm suites and the location. We had several rooms. One was a studio in Bldg 5...

Royal West Indies Resort is a hotel that also has condos. You may be staying in a one bedroom suite privately owned, which we did, while the one next door is occupied by hotel guests.. Our one bedroom suite on the 2nd floor of Building 5 (8 3-story buildings) had a kitchen and a balcony that looked out over the...

I never book a hotel or eat at a restaurant while on vaca without first consulting tripadvisor and as usual...everyone got it dead on. This is a very nice, clean modern, quiet hotel. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would most certainly stay again. My boyfriend and I stayed from 1/20 thru 1/24 in building 4 first floor...

Stayed here for 4 nights and was pleasantly surprised. Been staying in the Caribbean for many years and know what to expect, however this place surprised us with a nice clean, modern room, nice, well kept grounds at a price comparable to other locations here on the island. Is it a great deal, that is up to you to decide...

My wife and I went down to Turks and Caicos for the first time in the beginning of January 2012 for our honeymoon. We stayed there for one week in a botanical view single bedroom. We were in building #8, which is the building farthest away from the ocean. This did not bother us, because even though we were in...

We have stayed in RWI in October, and loved the place. The resort is well maintained with lush and green gardens. Everywhere we looked we would see green hedges, flowers in bloom and gently swaying green palms. The resort is not very large, it is quiet, and private which was our preference. They have two pools, and there were always...

We just returned to the cold after a great week at RWI. The location was superb, and our room was awsome. We had room #523 and for the price, will be back. The beach gets a little crowded so we drove to long bay beach every morning and had miles of privacy. Absolutely beautiful. We rented a car and were...

I travel - a ton. And I've gotten a few unpleasant surprises when the input from total strangers was not " dead on balls accurate".Well- this one is! Royal West Indies is a perfect place to stay on Provo. On the best beach- Gracy Bay- the property is large enough to have the amenities I wanted- but not so expensive...

Turks & Caicos—Royal west Indies resort Provo—Preliminary Comments and Context We stayed in Provo, Turks & Caicos for two weeks. This is an expensive island for virtually everything as everything is imported, mostly from the US. We tried many of the restaurants, and the average appetizer is $12-14, and the average main course is $40 or more. The grocery store...

As we had read in previous travelers' reviews, this resort is an excellent choice--it is quiet with a beautiful botanical garden (not a good place for thoses who want a night life); staff is friendly and courteous, beach is a dream. The restaurant, Pelican Bay restaurant, offers excellent food (try the steamed fish) and has prices that, comparing to other...
