It must be the right profile: are you looking for parties, shopping, a lt of activity? Not here... Amanyara is an extremely quiet place, for relaxing. In that profile, it is excellent. From the luxury of the huts, the gastronomic experience, the view... everything is amazing, and promises a phantasmic romantic stay for two.

Amanyara, by design, is a luxury resort at the end of a non-paved road on a smaller sized island at the southern end of the Bahamas. It's expensive, because everything has to be imported and has a lot of tax, and it's an expensive resort also averaging $4K per day for our visit of two people for five days over...

Stayed in Aug'15 and havent been able to stop thinking about how wonderful my short week at this escape was. I am now an "Aman Junkie" and need my next fix :) The ocean water is straight out of a screen saver and filled with so much colorful wildlife. You can go on a short snorkeling trip for free but...

Have just returned from the Amanyara. Fantastic for a peaceful, spoiling and lazy holiday. I could have done a lot more but hey, I was on holiday. I am, however, pretty picky but, as is often not the case, I was so won over by the charm of the place and the people that when there was a minor niggle...

We loved our Pavilion. Very Zen!! When we checked into the resort we were told, the loudest thing you will hear is if another guest drops their fork at dinner. We stayed in a private pavilion with pool the first part of week and beach front second part. I personally loved the beachfront, but having a private pool to take...

Careful with the hurricane season. It was in the beginning of October (which is not supposed to a windy season) and we spent 6 nights on honeymoon at the Amanyara under severe tropical storm conditions. The hotel did a good job offering us some amenities, however next time I would definitely go from December on.

The beautiful property is located in a secluded spot. My husband and I stayed five nights and never left the property -- there was no need to. The beach is gorgeous, the pool sublime, food all delicious and the staff friendly. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to avoid crowds and just relax.

This was one of the most amazing resorts I have ever been to! The service was impecable... my wife is allergic to ginger, & we told one server, the entire rest of the trip eveyone made a comment that things we ordered were ginger free! Impressive! The Porperty is nothing short of amazing as we had a beachfront pavillion! Stunning...

It is very hard to describe. Breathtaking site with an outstanding staff and really, despite its isolation from he rest of the island, too much to do. It is not cheap, not even expensive. It is the top of the luxury market and gives value for money. Their web site has better photos than I could provide.

I was drawn to this Aman Resort due to the architecture, design and the rooms; I was not disappointed! The overall layout of the social areas (arrival/bar/restaurant/lobby/main pool) is stunning, especially at night. The rooms are large, well thought out and have everything you would expect in an Aman property. The staff is friendly and management seems to always be...
