After over one year of extensive renovations, we are excited to invite guests to our island hillside paradise! Bluebeards is located on a secluded hillside in the heart of this tropical paradise and is the ideal U.S. Virgin Islands vacation destination. Overlooking Charlotte Amalie and the harbor where cruise ships dock, the resort offers newly renovated Studios, 1 Bedroom Suites, and a select number of 2 Bedroom Suites- most with balconies overlooking breathtaking island landscapes! On-site dining options include coffee, tea, and pastries from The Castle Coffee and Deli or our causal dining options at Sunnyside Café and Pool Bar. Enjoy the warm breezes lounging by the outdoor pool or relaxing on your private balcony.

We booked several consecutive days at the Bluebeard Resort through a booking agency, but due to itinerary changes, had two separate reservations for the two days. Jackie could not keep us in the same room for both days since we booked through with an agent rather than directly with the hotel, but she worked very hard to make our room change as easy as possible, from asking housekeeping to get our new room done first and moving ng our luggage so that all we needed to do was pick up the key and walk in. Her personal attention and support was above and beyond and immensely appreciated. She's the kind of employee that makes a company look good, get great reviews and keep happy customers. Management is lucky to have her and so we're we!

Our room was spacious which was nice and close to downtown which is why we booked here. The experience was fine but there were small irritants such as no hot water in the shower the first couple of days. It was lukewarm and once we complained it got better but never really a hot shower. The water in the shower also vacillated between a trickle and a full spray - all while you were showering. It made for an interesting shower. The experinece was fine but next time we might stay at the Marriott!

We stayed in one of the timeshare units. We were lucky and got one of the newly renovated studios which was really nice but the bathroom is very tight but well done. The view of the "resort" looks down onto apartments. If you look just right you can view the cruise ship though.. The real disappointment was finding out the pool is only 3 feet deep. SERIOUSLY? We were told there was a swim up pool bar but that wasn't true. It is also the ONLY pool so think over a hundred people atleast staying here and one small pool. The building and lobby is very nice. Oh and there's a $25 per night resort fee plus another $6.25 per person tax that we didn't know about.

We had 2 rooms and Johnny made sure our rooms were together and close to the pool because we had our 8 year old grand daughter. The pool food was great and very convenient. We woke up every morning looking at the beatiful Caribbean sea and had a rainbow most mornings. The concierge, Michelle was very helpful prior to our arrival AND during our stay. She is a local so recommended local places which we always like. We would stay at Bluebeards in the future.

The resort exceeded our expectations all the way around. The staff was friendly. Our unit was a clean, one bedroom overlooking Charlotte Amalie and the cruise port. We enjoyed sitting on the private balcony in the morning watching ships arrive and at night as they departed. We were also able to hear a youth steel drum band playing at night since there music school was nearby. I loved the sound!! We ate the pool bar one night and the food was excellent! The coconut bread pudding was superb!! We were unable to eat at the deck view restaurant but heard many positive comments from other guests. The resort is on a Hillside so there were many steps to climb up to the pool and restaurant. We also walked down into the city on multiple occasions. You do need to be observant and mindful of cars as the streets are narrow in some places.
