I was on an engineering team sent to stabilize the Federal Infrastructure right after the hurricanes. Of all the work we did on those three islands half of my stories I brought home came from this hotel.

I am beyond done with this property. After being promised money back and responses, they once again have disappeared off the face of the planet. I've never talked to a property that bounces your phone call around more, and just blatantly lies.

We were on the third floor which means we had to drag our luggage up three flights of stairs then down one flight. The blinds in the room were plastic and they had melted into wavy shapes and had never been dusted. The shower didn't...More
Always a pleasure staying here when I visit the island for work. Spacious rooms, very friendly staff and an amazing value. I recommend this for someone visiting for work if when overnighting from a cruise ship. Would caution those who have difficulty with stairs as...More

We did an island tour and a beach stop was included. We arranged the tour thru the front desk and then walked less than 10 minutes around the. Irene if he post office to catch the tour bus. The taxi from the airport was $9 a person if I remember right. Ask to share a ride- the more people lowers the price and there is a limit to how many they can take. Regarding the ferries, I walked to the dock (about 20 minutes) to scout routes and prices. Round trip was cheaper and did not have to be used the same day. Will give a senior discount but didn't know to ask for it til too late. It's easy to visit another island via ferry but not cheap. Bunker Hill staff are very knowledgeable and helpful to navigate- definitely use them.
