I am a travel agent, who stopped in St Thomas on a cruise. I went to Sapphire beach to enjoyed the day and also to check out the hotel. I was very surprised how run down it was. But.. the beach, and view might make...More

Restaurant, outdoor bar and part of beach club entrance boarded up. This is what happens when owners and developers are in litigation in court. In dire need of maintainance and they still have the balls to show a brochure with all the amenities. The view...More

It has been well documented for years that the restaurant and bar are closed and boarded up. This shouldn't be a surprise for anyone who does any research. Many people like Sapphire for this very reason; it's quiet and relaxing on a fabulous beach. Maintenance...More

I didn't see a workout center, but I wasn't looking. You could kayak, snorkel, swim, or run on the beach instead. I would suggest NOT walking anywhere on the road, especially to Red Hook. No shoulder, hills, and blind curves. There is nowhere to get out of the way of a car. The second day we were there a guy got hit by a car while walking back from Red Hook. Our room in building A was great, the beach is like a fairy tale, and the water looks and feels like a perfectly Photoshopped dream.
