Very good value for half day spa package, £55 which included a £10 voucher towards the cost of lunch in the bar and any treatment of your choice. The facilities are pretty good, however the steam room was not working and of the three showers available, only one was any good. On the plus side I had a full body...

Four of us went to enjoy an afternoon spar... there was no seating available for us in the pool area so was NOT the relaxing treat we wanted. It seems to many people had been booked in to use the facilities.

We have eaten at the Nant Ddu several times over the years and always thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a night without kids and we wanted to stay somewhere with a pool and sauna. We then remembered that the Nant Ddu had a spa. We weren't disappointed. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your...

This place has gone down hill rapidly since our last visit in the summer. Our meals were cold flavourless and took ages to come. The staff were uninterested and didn't even ask if we were satisfied with our meal. My meal cost £16.00 and consisted of cold chicken, two mushrooms & cold tasteless oven chips. unfortunately after many years of...

Stayed here with a friend on the over night spa package deal! We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise! Upon check in we weren't told any details of where to go for our meals or what time breakfast was served or the usual information you would expect! The room itself was clean and relatively modern with...

We stayed here for 4 nights and were treated so well. Superior room excellent. Food and waitress service excellent, breakfast excellent, spa and treatments wonderful. This is a great spot for heading out to the waterfall walks in Pontnedfecken. Such a lovely relaxing atmosphere.Felt throughly spoilt and worth every penny. What a treat. Definitely going back.

My husband suprised me with a night at the hotel - we live locally and know that the food is amazing, but haven't stayed since our wedding night 19 years ago. He booked a Superior Double, to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Mismatched furniture, pump dispenser for hair/bodywash, not the standard I was expecting. The food lived up...

There is a plaque in the reception area "Voted Best Hotel in Wales 1999', really that says it all. The hotel has not been upgraded in 20 years. The striking thing, however is the poor and indifferent service. With the exception of Mary the veteran waitress, the staff are rude and inattentive. Food service is slow (no apology offered), items...
