I had a wonderful retreat at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram, on Paradise Island, Bahamas, for eleven days. I liked everything about it. Chose one of their tents for my sleeping arrangement.. comes w/ shared gender separate bathrooms. I'm glad I chose that accommodation. It was fun, and a good value. The yoga classes twice a day were excellent, also enjoyed...

This was our second visit, and I would love to come every year. It is an Ashram, not a luxury resort, so be prepared. Expect twice daily Sivananda style classes (progression of practice has little variation), two plentiful and delicious vegetarian meals, twice daily meditation/chanting/teaching, lots of good workshops, a gorgeous beach, beautiful grounds, and people who are mostly friendly...

I came here for my teacher's training in November, my first stay ever at an ashram, and just could not leave this place. It's a refuge for those of us who seek deeper meaning in life and a wonderful place to heal. And then, of course, there's the magnificent beach with the white sand and the crystal clear water, a...

My family and I are practicing Sivananda Yoga for a number of years, and this place is a true paradise. All things are excellent here: outstanding yoga classes, spiritual and cultural enrichment program, caring staff and volunteers, best beach. But since Gigi Cohen came here as a vegetarian chef, there is one more attraction: true gourmet vegetarian food. Gigi, who...

The beach, the temples, the artwork, the gadens and the food are amazing. The people make this truly paradise on earth. Two daily satsangs (gatherings of seekers of the truth), amazing presenters and workshops, and of course amazing classical hatha yoga classes. Come for a weekend or for the season, you won't regret it and you'll want to return ASAP.

I love being in this beautiful place with incredible people from all walks of life, who are seeking to improve themselves, and take this energy and inner peace out into the world. Love the classes, the turquoise ocean, the food and the spiritual basis. Nearly anybody who wants to get in touch with their higher self, would benefit coming here.

For those who are looking for a spiritual resourcing vacation, this is the place! I stayed there for three months and it was of the most meaningful experience of my life. The people there are caring, present and connected, even if they're all different. The yoga classes by the ocean are so powerful that you want to stay there for...

This being my 8th time returning, during the month of February, I can only say that I enjoy every minute. Since the first time that I came here, I knew that I would continue to return. I have met very kind and interesting people from around the world. The staff, guests, of which I am one, food, and surroundings have...
