The best thing about this hotel was the location. Right on the beach, and Walking distance to atlantis and shops. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was alright. Would not hesitate to go back.

When we arrived at around 1 in the afternoon, we were told that there was a plumbing problem and that they would be sending us to another hotel for the first night. We were shocked by this, especially since others arriving at the same time or later than us were getting room keys. When we asked to speak to the...

We got to the hotel for our reservation (that was booked months a head) the hotel didnt have our room ready and explained it as they were facing challenges. They put us in another hotel for the first night which was a two start hotel, no balcony, a tiny beach area (which is the complete opposite of what we booked...

Stayed from 15th to 20th. Food is ok. Drinks are awesome. But my last day I got a little tipsy and sat in a chair outside the lobby. I fell asleep and awoke at 3:30 in the morning with my gold necklace gone and $680 gone right out of my pocket. The chair I was in was right in front...

We had a wonderful stay at the Riu Palace Paradise Island. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating to our large group (13 people, including 3 children and an infant). The food at the buffet, as well as the a la carte restaurants, was delicous and there was always plenty of variety. Although the hotel could use a bit...

This all-inclusive hotel was wonderful. The hotel staff was very helpful and the food was the best of any all-inclusive that I've been to. It is definately a hotel and not a "resort" as everything is in one large building.

We stayed at the Riu first week of March. The beach is beautiful, especially if you're up for taking a stroll about 15-120 minutes away to quieter area. However, the hotel was disappointing. It was not what I would expect from a 5 star. We stayed in an oceanview room and the patio door was jammed shut so we never...

My boyfriend and I, both in our mid twenties, visited this location in late February for 4 days. We were a little skeptical given the mixed reviews, but it turns out we had no reason to worry! We had a fantastic vacation and are ready to give a full review: THE GOOD: This resort is great right from the moment...

We took a family trip, 2 adult couples and 2 children (5 & 8) to the Bahamas March 9 - 14. As another reviewer pointed out......it was Spring Break so part of my review may be unfair given the time frame. But even looking beyond that this is not a great RIU property by any means. Property: The hotel is...

We checked in early and went to the Lobby Bar for our first drink of our vacation! We reserved a Jr. Ocean View Suite. Our room was lovely, we also had a very large walk in closet. Wonderful Ocean view and we left our sliding glass balcony door open at night so we could enjoy the wonderful breeze. Our room...
